The lovely Taylor Swift walks about the city in a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, a striped navy top and skinny jeans, ballet flats and a leather satchel. We’ve got some good news for the singer’s fans, as well as for those of New Girl: Swift will make a guest appearance in the season finale of the Fox TV show, playing an important guest at Cece’s Indian wedding. The episode airs on May 14th, and we’re seriously excited to see it! Margo Martindale recently made an appearance on the same show, which makes us think they’ve got a whole lot of surprises coming for season 3. Other stars that joined the case of New Girl are Jamie Lee Curtis, Olivia Munn, and Dennis Farina. Taylor Swift, who is currently touring across the USA, has previously appeared in a 2009 episode of CSI and has hosted Saturday Night Live. We’re pretty sure music is her thing, and she’ll stick to it.

Taylor Swift looks exquisite as always in a pair of shorts that go with her hair, white shirt and havana cat eye Tom Ford sunglasses. She is not without her cup of coffee and red lipstick either! The singer, who covers Vanity Fair this month, revealed that she only dated two people in the past three years: Harry Styles and Conor Kennedy. The 23 year old chose not to speak about these relationships herself, but named a friend who would talk on her behalf. The source says that she’s been hurt by older guys, but couldn’t get what she wanted out of young guys either. Swift says: “For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that’s taking something that potentially should be celebrated—a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way—that’s taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist.”

Taylor Swift is a great mixer of high street and designer fashion: pictured above, she’s wearing a Topshop trench coat with Prada sunglasses! The singer had a great performance at the Grammys, just after allegedly breaking up with Harry Styles, and she’s now on the cover of Elle March 2013 in a stunning yellow checkered number. The 23 year old talks about ex-boyfriends: “I don’t think I’ve ever yelled at an ex-boyfriend. Ever. I’m not a yeller. I’m not a fit thrower. If something is done, it’s done.” She did, however, sing about all of them! Or, at least, that’s what we thought: “To me it’s just writing songs the way I always have. It’s me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didn’t understand, writing a song, and understanding it better. If people want to dissect the lyrics, that’s their right, but it’s all coming from the exact same place as where I started. It’s just something I do to feel better.”

This lady could just as well rock a sac and we wouldn’t even notice! Swift’s enviable physique has to do with what she eats and drinks, besides an amazing combination of genes. Her drink of choice? Diet Coke. The singer just released a video blog this week, announcing her partnership with the brand. “I wanted to share some news with you, because we’re finally making it official with one of the great loves of my life…Diet Coke,” she shared. “I’ve said for years that Diet Coke just ‘gets me’ and my lifestyle. I’m so excited about our new partnership,” Swift continued. The 23 year old will be the new face of the Diet Coke campaign, and she promises a lot of fun surprises will be involved for her fans.

The successful singer is covering Cosmopolitan’s South African edition this February, and she looks as sexy as any Cosmo girl in the photoshoot. Swift is wearing a bodycon dress that sort of reminds us of siren attire, with straight hair and her signature bangs. “Independence is something I’ve always needed, from when I was young, but I love the idea of romance and falling in love. I’ve never really had a long relationship. So that’s something I think about for the future. It’s an interesting part of my personality: Part of me just wants to be alone,” the 23 year old told the magazine. Clearly, no one wants happy songs from her, so could this just be for the sake of the art? Meanwhile, Swift’s single ’I Knew You Were Trouble’ reached number one in the charts.

“Can’t. even. verbalize. how stoked I am for 2013!” Taylor Swift wrote on her Twitter profile just before the new year. The singer and her boyfriend Harry Styles (New Direction) started 2013 with a kiss, after her performance at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest. Swift (23) and Styles (18) shared a kiss and a hug in Times Square, while kept safe by the bodyguards. The pair spent their Christmas holiday with another famous teen couple, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, on a ski trip in Utah’s Canyons Resort. Swift also visited Holmes Chapel, England, Styles’ hometown, and met his family earlier this winter. Pictured here in her signature red lip and Ray Ban sunglasses, the blonde singer seems to be finally having some happy days from a romantic point of view.

Taylor Swift released her latest video, “I Knew You Were in Trouble” on her 23rd birthday, and it just happens to be her 23rd video! “It’s like a golden video birthday. I realized that like five minutes ago when someone told me and now I’m all excited about it,” she told MTV. “I can’t believe it lined up like that.” The video tells the story of a good girl falling for a bad boy, something Swift isn’t unfamiliar with herself. “I had just gone through an experience that made me write this song about like knowing the second you see someone like, ‘Oh, this is going to be interesting. It’s going to be dangerous, but look at me going in there anyway.’ I think that for me, it was the first time I ever kind of noticed that in myself, like when you are curious about something you know might be bad for you, but you know that you are going to go for it anyway because if you don’t, you’ll have greater regrets about not seeing where that would go, but I think that for me it all went along with this record that was pushing boundaries, like the sound of this record pushes boundaries, it was writing about something I hadn’t written before,” the singer stated. Swift is currently dating One Direction‘s Harry Styles and the two spent her birthday together. Known for her spotless fashion choices, the singer is pictured here wearing a casual sweater over a black tank, a pendant necklace and oversized, cat eye shaped sunglasses.

At 22 and 22 million albums sold worldwide, Taylor Swift shouldn’t have anything to worry about. However, like many in her place, she’s freaking out because of the intrusive paparazzi, as she recently told a magazine in an interview. The singer told BBC: “I don’t think it’s necessarily that paparazzi are taking pictures of me that freaks me out, as much as the fact they’re hanging out with you all day. I asked to be a singer, I wanted this, so I can kind of understand it when they’re waiting outside a radio station or on a red carpet. But it gets to be a bit irritating for me when they’re waiting for me outside my house, or when I’m on vacation and they’re there too.” Poor Taylor, she didn’t expect that much attention when she signed up for being one of biggest hits of the decade! As for her latest big hit, “We are never ever getting back together”, the singer wrote it through a random happening, and in about 25 minutes: we were actually writing another song. Randomly this guy walked into the studio who I had never met before – but I heard of him through my ex – and he made some comment about how he’d heard that we were going to get back together. That was not the case! After he left I explained the story to Max and said, ‘We are never ever getting back together’ and someone said we should write that. I just grabbed the guitar and it just happened”.

We loved seeing Taylor Swift in a pair of polka dots jeans with kitty flats, a cardigan, pearls and the Ray Ban Wayfarers, during her visit in London. The 22-year old  is about to launch her fourth album, “Red” at the end of October, including 16 tracks, and counting the hit single “We are never ever getting back together” and a duet with Ed Sheeran. You’d think with so much success, the singer doesn’t know what stage fright is. However, the blonde told the press that she needs to talk to herself in the mirror before shows, to calm herself down. This happens particularly during festivals, when the crowd may not be there for her specifically: “I don’t get nervous when I’m going on stage and a crowd of people have bought tickets to see me, because I’m like, ‘You guys totally want to be here.’ It’s when I’m not sure if people want me to be on stage,” she says.

Taylor Swift is about to wow her fans with a performance on September 6 at the VMAs. “You get really nervous,” she admits. “It’s a mixture of all these emotions of excitement of nerves of planning, of making sure that you have enough rehearsal time, know all your blocking… ’cause the thing about the VMAs is, the people that help put together the performances are honestly some of the best people you have ever worked with.” Swift is taking her rehearsing really seriously, as she’s recently been seen carrying her guitar case around the city, donning mustard and navy and classic Ray Bans. For the Video Music Awards, Swift will perform a new song from her latest album “Red”.  The video for her latest hit, “We are never getting back together” just came on the market, and Swift changes a number of outfits through it:  “The costume changes were really hectic. (We did them) in real time; it was crazy,” the singer says.
