Courteney Cox celebrates her 48th birthday today, and we’re looking at some of her best sunglasses moments from the past few years. The actress is one for classic shapes, such as rectangular or aviator, and she usually dons classic colors like black and havana. Once in a while, she might go bolder, with a pair of butterfly shaped sunglasses, as picture above, but those are rare moments in her otherwise safe looks. However, it’s one of our favorite looks on her: the dark brown frames flatter her skin tone, and their large size shows off her impressive bone structure.

Even though we can’t really see a connection between the big logo Chanel sunglasses and the precious sheer dress, Cox seems to be enjoying it. These are some of the actress’ favorite shades, which she’s been wearing like crazy ever since 2005.

Another flattering style on Cox’ face is the aviator. The actress rocks her Ray Ban RB3293 sunglasses with a striped tank top, and she looks young and fresh in the combo. Not bad for a cougar her age!

Probably the hottest of the looks is Courteney’s outfit on her show, Cougar Town, which has her in metallic Lilly Pullitzer sunglasses, layered tops and lots of cleavage. Speaking of the show, after directing some episodes, Cox caught the bug and is now moving forward with her first movie. The flick tells the story of a man (Seann William Scott) who comes back to his hometown to deal with some unresolved business before committing suicide. Kate Walsh, Garret Dillahunt and Rob Riggle are also starring in the film, which will begin shooting later this month in LA. Happy birthday, Courteney!

Ashley Benson says the new season of Pretty Little Liars is “darker”

June 11th was a highly anticipated date for Pretty Little Liars fans. It meant the premiere of the fourth season, one which the main actress, Ashley Benson, describes as “darker than ever”. The pretty little blond says that their fans grew up with the show, and that they’re now ready for something even stronger. “The darker, the better”, she told Ryan Seacrest in an interview, and announced that she’s really happy about the outcome. Benson revealed on the radio show that many new characters will appear this season, with surprising plots and crazy stories. We will also get our fair share of unexpected twists, Benson suggests, and you can no longer trust who’s good and who’s evil.

The new season premiered on Tuesday and revealed the identity of the infamous Queen of Hearts, as well as what was in Wilden’s trunk – we won’t give out any spoilers, because we’re sure you’d rather watch the full episode yourselves.

Miley Cyrus surprised her fans once again, this time with a new single: We Can’t Stop. The song is part of her new album, yet untitled, and it really goes with the singer’s new and improved style, which often gets her compared to Avril Lavigne from back in the day. Not only did the former Hanna Montana show off her but crack in V Magazine last month, but she’s now singing about partying… hard. Cyrus’ song premiered yesterday on Ryan Seacrest’s show, and Cyrus described it as “where I’m at in my life right now.” Does this mean she’s reached party level? There’s definitely a change in sound with the new single, heading more to the R&B side, about which Cyrus says is more like herself. She plans on expressing herself more with the new album, and that should be interesting to listen to! Especially with the contribution of names like Pharrell Williams, Will.i.am, Future and Dr. Luke! Cyrus’ latest album, Can’t Be Tamed, was released in 2010, and has sold about 345,000 copies up until now. Times are busy for Cyrus, as Snoop Lion‘s new video was just released, and it features vocals from our short haired blond. Ashtrays and Heartbreaks is the name of Snoop’s comeback song from the new album, Reincarnated. Watch it below and listen to Cyrus’ new song:

However, it’s not what O’Brien thinks, but what the general opinion is: Swift just won eight Billboard awards last week: “You are the longest and best relationship I ever had,” she told the crowd, referencing all her heartbreak songs.

I had beautiful huge breasts and then I came to Hollywood and I was like I got to lose weight. I got to look thin and fit and I lost them a little bit. I don’t miss them because they were quite uncomfortable but they looked beautiful. I was feminine. I had some nice curves and I think that we should really appreciate that as opposed to trying to get rid of everything,” the actress said. However, she also confesses that being on a magazine cover (like Allure right now) never gets old for her, and it’s exciting every time.
