Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler have had a very public, roller coaster relationship…engaged–not engaged–engaged again. Now the gorgeous couple is hitting a new high – they’re expecting their first child! The former Hills star and NFL quarterback confirmed the news to People magazine last weekend. “We are thrilled to announce we are expecting our first child together,” Kristin and Jay told People in a joint statement. “It’s an amazing time in our life and we can’t wait to meet the new addition to our growing family.”
Kristin, having announced a couple months ago in November that she and Jay’s engagement was back on after a four month hiatus, has steadfastly tweeted, “This time its official…” and boy was she right. The pair–who were introduced by E! News host Giuliana Rancic in 2010–are jumping into their “surprise” pregnancy with all feet in–especially since this Chicago Bears QB has been out of commission for the team’s last six games with a broken thumb. “She is really happy. She is in the early stages, but she can’t wait to be a mom,” a source told Us Weekly of the mom-to-be. And let’s not overlook that Kristin is going to be one chic mama!
