Jessica Chastain was spotted visiting Paris Fashion Week, and she looked sleek in all black. How good is this color against her red hair? The actress picked Tom Ford sunglasses, pants with high stilettos, and a metallic buttons coat for the event, to the joy of street style photographers. Together with Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Amanda Seyfried, the actress sat front row at the Givenchy Fall-Winter show. Chastain is a known fan of the French fashion house, having picked their creations for the Golden Globes 2012, as well as at The Hollywood Reporter Nominees’ Night. The actress’ interest in fashion must have grown considerably since she started dating a fashion exec, Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo. “He is a classy guy and completely agrees about respecting their relationship and not flaunting it,” a source said about the boyfriend, and that they’ve been dating for a while. We wonder if that means anything drastic in Chastain’s look!

Jessica Chastain grabs a coffee to go in a pair of jeans, with a winter jacket and scarf, as well as her pretty Tory Burch sunglasses. The redhead may have not won the Oscar for best actress – which went to Jennifer Lawrence this year – but fashion critics acclaimed her choice for the red carpet gown. Chastain turned heads in a nude Armani Prive dress, strapless and sequined, nicely complemented with a red lip and her gorgeous hair shade. The actress looked like an old Hollywood siren in the dress, but rumor has it she wasn’t on her best behavior on the night of the event. Sources claim that Chastain and winner Jennifer Lawrence got all catty before the show. The nominated actress denied the rumor: “I don’t [like girl fights]. I think the image of women like cats, this catty thing, I don’t find that to be true. So I’m not interested in keeping up the myth. Unless it’s for a movie. A girl fight in a movie is fun,” she said. “”[Lawrence] came up to me at a party the other night and she goes, ‘I hear we’re in a supposed feud,’ ’cause someone showed her that I had wrote a thing on Facebook that was like basically ‘You all need to step back, there’s no feud. She’s awesome, she’s talented’ and ‘Stop,’ ” Chastain mentioned.

Jessica Chastain rocks this sophisticated look of a navy coat, silk scarf and cat eye Tory Burch sunglasses, and all the colors look great against her signature red hair. The Zero Dark Thirty actress recently opened up about her boyfriend, who apparently isn’t in the film industry: “I do [have a boyfriend]. But I will say I have a rule I don’t date actors, so he’s not in the business, at all… He’s in the fashion industry,” she said. It’s also been revealed recently that Chastain’s biologial father – who hasn’t been around as she was growing up – passed away. Chastain had stated she doesn’t want to have to do with him, for undisclosed reasons. ‘So it was always upsetting to Michael that Jessica turned her back on him, especially after Jerri remarried, and eventually started referring to her stepdad Michael Hastey as her father,’a source said.

Jessica Chastain heads for the Walter Kerr Theatre in New York for a performance of her play The Heiress, wearing a dark outfit with Tom Ford sunglasses, Coach booties and a floral scarf, but also a big smile on her face. She looks happy – it looks like theatre is truly her passion! The actress recently spoke about what it was like to play such a tough character in the Oscar-nominated Zero Dark Thirty: “I feel honored to portray a character like [Maya] because I’ve known a lot of women who have chosen that in their lives but I’d never seen that in cinema,” she told the LA Times. “It’s wonderful to tell everyone’s story.” Chastain has recently joined the cast of a new movie, Miss Julie, also starring Colin Farrel. However, there are no details available at this point about the movie.

Osama bin Laden is still a sensitive subject for most of the world, but Hollywood managed to bring this topic into the mainstream cinema with Zero Dark Thirty. The movie tells the story of the hunt for the terrorist leader, after 9/11, and culminates with the death of the most wanted man in 2011. Jessica Chastain (pictured), Joel Edgerton and Chris Pratt are the starring actors. At the Golden Globes, the movie was awarded best actress (Chastain), and had several other nominations, but it’s got five other nominations at the Oscars, including Best Motion Picture of the Year. Playing the tough agent “Maya”, Jessica Chastain manages to do an impressive role. Some of her character’s wisdom: “I’m going to smoke everyone involved in this op and then I’m going to kill Osama bin Laden.” Are you up for that? Go see the movie. You also get to see Chastain in very neutral clothes and authoritarian Ray Ban sunglasses.

Jessica Chastain arrives at the airport in jeans and a trench coat, with Louis Vuitton luggage, a Gucci bag and Dolce&Gabbana sunglasses. The Zero Dark Thirty actress talks about the award winning role: “I’m playing a character who’s trained to be unemotional and analytically precise. As an actor, you spend your whole life trying to be emotional and keeping yourself emotionally open. So, to find the humanity within that, in that arc, was a great [challenge] for me.” Her character is based on a real agent, one that is still undercover now: “When I was reading the script, every page that I turned was a shock to me, especially about Maya and the role she took in [the capture of Bin Laden]. Then I got upset that it was such a shock to me. Why would I assume a woman wouldn’t be involved in this kind of research? The wonderful thing about working on this film is, historically, in movies, lead characters are played by women who are defined by men, whether as a love interest or as a victim of a man. Maya’s not like that,” Chastain continues.

Jessica Chastain is relaxing on the set of The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby in s striped t-shirt and Dolce&Gabbana sunglasses. The redhead looks like a million bucks on the cover of InStyle UK, for the February edition. Who would think that her luscious red hair could ever stand in the way of her career? “There were a couple of times when I thought, ‘Maybe I should dye my hair blonde?’ Being a redhead and not having very conventionally modern looks, it was confusing for people and they didn’t know exactly where to put me.” The Help actress also reveals why we haven’t seen her holding hands with anyone famous: “I have a rule. No actors. I realized I wanted just to be able to hang out with someone… And I didn’t want to talk about the business, first of all. I love movies. But I love talking about them like when I was 15 years old. I’m a film fan, but I don’t want to talk about auditions or what movie I’m gonna do. I find that so boring.”

Jessica Chastain arrived at a Broadway theater for the performance of The Heiress this Sunday, wearing black pants and top, a white coat, a hot pink bag and black, round, Prada sunglasses. The actress appears on the cover of W Magazine, the January edition, in a hot Versace dress and a retro bob, making women around the world envious. Chastain is nominated for Best Actress at the Golden Globes, for her role in Zero Dark Thirty, a role that took her out of her comfort zone, for the benefit of her acting and her fans. “Every scene gave me clues as to who this woman was. And, of course, our screenwriter is an investigative reporter, so that was very helpful. I nicknamed Mark ‘the professor’ and I had three months of going to school before we even started shooting,” the actress said. Nothing is off limits for Chastain: “I want to do it all. I think I have to calm down and be like: You don’t have to do it all, right now. Hopefully, you’ll be around for a few years,” she says about her wish to take on as many different roles as possible.

Would you rather: Jessica Szohr vs. Jessica Chastian in Versace sunglasses

Would you rather: Jessica Szohr vs. Chastain in Versace sunglasses
27 year old Jessica Szohr and 35 year old Jessica Chastain share a first name and a taste in eyewear. Both actresses were spotted rocking cat eye shaped Versace sunglasses of the January Jones collection, but they don’t have much else in common. Szohr became famous for her role in Gossip Girl, and is now trying to break away from her role as Vanessa and into the big screen, her latest endeavor being the comedy Two Night Stand. Chastain, on the other hand, already has her act together, with a bunch of awards for The Help and an Oscar nomination this year for Zero Dark Thirty. But when it comes to sunglasses, who wore it best? We think both the brunette and the redhead would agree that a pair of white skinny jeans would look good on them, in Szohr’s style, with a denim shirt and chunky heel Acne Pistol ankle boots. And who could say no to a beautiful coat with leather sleeves, and an Alexander Wang bag?

The gorgeous Jessica Chastain just had her Broadway debut this month, with the play “The Heiress”. The play was also Dan Stevens’s debut (Matthew Crawley of Downton Abbey), so it attracted a large crowd who were curious about the two actors’ performance. The 1947 drama is based on a Henry James novella and Chastain’s staging has received mixed reviews from the critics. The Hollywood Reporter calls the actress “underpowered” and laments her “inconsistency of characterization,” while the New York Post’s Elisabeth Vincantelli was disappointed that Chastain failed to bring more fury to the play’s most famous line, when Sloper (n.n. Chastain) declares, “Yes, I can be cruel. I have been taught by masters!” While her Broadway debut wasn’t welcomed with open arms, not the same can be said about Chastain’s Hollywood career. The redhead has just leaped up in the Oscar race for her leading role in Zero Dark Thirty. This threatens Jennifer Lawrence who is a favorite in the race, for her role on Silver Linings Playbook.
