One thing’s for sure: Miley Cyrus is over her good girl, Disney days. And her newest video for the hit “We Can’t Stop” is all the proof we need – even though we did get sort of a preview in her V Magazine editorial earlier this year. Ok, so we knew she was grown up and all punk, but when did she become so hot? The singer has no problem showing off her assets in the video, which already has over a million hits on YouTube for its official version. Sexy onesies, dozens of cutouts, great eyewear and surprising accessories are what made the video go viral, dare we say it.

One of our favorite looks in the video has Miley looking more “metal” than ever: teeth, necklace, earrings and Tom Ford sunglasses (get them here), paired with white tanks, a red lip that suits her perfectly, and her short do with shaved sides. Does it get any edgier than this? Actually, yes it does. Also appearing in the video are life-sized teddy bear backpacks, a Barbie-like doll in a mesh bodysuit (which Miley kisses in the pool), a skull made of fries and a taxidermied lamb in sunglasses carried like a clutch. How’s that for a teaser?

Just a few days ago, Miley’s parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus, announced their divorce, after 19 years of marriage. Our singer seems to be taking it pretty well, but not the same can be said about her little sister. 13 year old Noah Lindsey Cyrus posted a sad message on her Twitter: “Please pray for me and my family. Xxo.” Noah Lindsey is the youngest of the five siblings, so we can imagine how rough this whole thing must be for her!

Miley Cyrus surprised her fans once again, this time with a new single: We Can’t Stop. The song is part of her new album, yet untitled, and it really goes with the singer’s new and improved style, which often gets her compared to Avril Lavigne from back in the day. Not only did the former Hanna Montana show off her but crack in V Magazine last month, but she’s now singing about partying… hard. Cyrus’ song premiered yesterday on Ryan Seacrest’s show, and Cyrus described it as “where I’m at in my life right now.” Does this mean she’s reached party level? There’s definitely a change in sound with the new single, heading more to the R&B side, about which Cyrus says is more like herself. She plans on expressing herself more with the new album, and that should be interesting to listen to! Especially with the contribution of names like Pharrell Williams, Will.i.am, Future and Dr. Luke! Cyrus’ latest album, Can’t Be Tamed, was released in 2010, and has sold about 345,000 copies up until now. Times are busy for Cyrus, as Snoop Lion‘s new video was just released, and it features vocals from our short haired blond. Ashtrays and Heartbreaks is the name of Snoop’s comeback song from the new album, Reincarnated. Watch it below and listen to Cyrus’ new song:

Miley Cyrus rocks an animal print cropped top, Persol sunglasses and a backpack, while out and about in LA. The singer is trying her best to make sure her fans understand her and Liam Hemsworth are not breaking up. Recently, she told V Magazine: “I’m not home with my boyfriend all the time. We work. Every week it’s “Are they broken up?” Because we don’t’ see a photo of them.” I don’t have time go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don’t. I’d rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him. And then I’m at the studio all day. He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio. I put this record before everything, and I’ve never done that with anything. I’ve put too much into this record to put anything else in front of it.” Perhaps, at some point, the press will understand that there are still things happening behind closed doors. And, unless the walls have ears, we may never know what’s really going on in a celebrity couple.

More recently, the singer/actress has appeared on the cover of Elle UK, looking edgy and chic in a vest worn on the skin. The 20 year old opened up about her relationship with Liam Hemsworth, while also addressing the rumors of their having trouble: We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed. But we keep our relationship low-key and don’t talk about it any more,” she said. “We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight — into my life and my puppies and my house –- and I just don’t feel they get that privilege any more,” Cyrus explains about becoming more private. “Like on my Twitter, I’m much more . . . not conservative, but you don’t see a picture of my dogs. You don’t get that personal stuff any more.” And who could blame her? Being a superstar definitely means losing most of your privacy, so why would someone just give it away?

In just a few minutes, rumors that Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth called off the wedding appeared, with mysterious sources being quoted: “Miley and Liam are done; it’s over. She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him” or “They have broken up before, and are broken up again now. There was drama because she suspected he had a wandering eye. And she recently tweeted a denial that he cheated.” Less dramatic sources believe that Cyrus simply took off her ring because of convenience: it’s hard to exercise or wash the dishes with a diamond on, and we know for a fact that the singer successfully does at least one of these two things.

Miley Cyrus‘ look is definitely far from the ol’ Hannah Montana. The singer/actress is often spotted in skinny jeans, animal print cropped tank, her blond short hair and Persol sunglasses, as pictured above. Most recently, Cyrus was seen in Ottawa with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. Apparently, Hemsworth is working on a project there, but we’re not sure what it is yet. The witnesses said the couple were not prepared for the weather there, both lacking winter coats since they had just arrived from Costa Rica. The two had been on a romantic getaway on the beach, despite separation rumors in the press. The trip was also a celebration of the Hunger Games‘ actor 23 birthday, so his two brothers tagged along. Lots of traveling from the part of the young couple, who were recognized in a bookstore in Ottawa, and who, apparently, treated everyone really nicely.

Performing with DJ Borgore at the “Christmas Creampies” concert at the Fonda Theatre, and what she wore was nothing but racy. The singer went for skinny pants and animal print leg warmers, with a cropped top that showed lots of cleavage. Cyrus is all about showing her sexy side these days, since she discovered just how fun sex can be: “The girls that really base how much they’re worth on the sexual favors they can do for somebody, that makes me really sad. Because sex is actually really beautiful. It’s the only way we create, and it’s the only way the world keeps going,” she told the press. “[It] used to be if you’re a woman you do not sing about sex, and now if that’s not what you’re singing about, if that’s not your entire image, you won’t get played [on radio],” she said. The 20 year old is now getting ready for her wedding with Liam Hemsworth: “What I’m most excited for is that look when, you know, who you’re marrying, you see, the first time you’re seeing the dress and everything that you’ve planned for months and months, like, coming together, and that you did it together,” she told Ellen DeGeneres on her show. The TV host surprised her with male-strippers and an impromptu bachlorette party.

One thing’s for sure: Cyrus loves her doggies! ‘It’s mommmmmmy time!!!!!!!’ the actress/singer tweeted along with a bunch of pictures of herself and her rescue dogs. No less than four dogs were taken under Cyrus’ protective wing. She loves them so much that she allegedly made a pre-nup for fiance Liam Hemsworth to sign, stating that Cyrus will have custody of the dogs in case of divorce. What? Don’t worry, the contract also stipulates that Hanna Montana’s $130 million fortune will be safe.

The two young startlets have a couple of things in common: they were both discovered by the Disney Channel and turned into teen stars, they both have something to do with the Jonas Brothers – Miley having dated Nick, and Vanessa having sang with the band in duets – and apparently, they both like the same sunglasses: the Tom Ford FT0198 ($232). Miley Cyrus recently opted for a more edgy look, with bleached and shaved hair and rock’n'roll outfits, while Vanessa Hudgens, who is 4 years her senior, opts for classics like black and white and Chanel accessories. How can we compromise between these two young ladies? One thing to start with are the famous square shaped Tom Ford sunglasses, against a pair of bright fuchsia skinny jeans, and a strapless corset, and a large ring in the style of Cyrus. To add some of Hudgens’ part to this look, we opted for a Burberry black cardigan and a Chanel bag. Stylish meets edgy!
