Jennifer Lawrence has a blast with two of her girlfriends, all wearing comfortable and light outfits. Lawrence picked a striped maxi dress with a denim shirt, a pair of Tory Burch sunglasses in black horn, and a brown leather messenger bag. Recently, Vice magazine interviewed a few hate groups to see what they had to see about the actress. The results? Everyone loves her. Or, at the least, they’re indifferent (e.g. someone from the Institute of Historical Review said they just don’t have an opinion). And apparently, when Prince Harry was given a list of Hollywood celebrities and asked who he would like to date, he picked Lawrence! “Harry thinks Jennifer is a girl after his own heart — very chill and out for a good time. Harry is looking for a serious relationship and is ready to settle down. And the way he’s thinking right now he could end up with a Hollywood wife,” a source said.

It’s not very often that the same person manages to be both the laughing stock and the most admired person at a single event. But it’s the case of Jennifer Lawrence, who got the award for Best Actress at the 2013 Academy Awards. However, things didn’t go as smoothly for the Dior Couture wearing actress, who tripped and fell on the stairs as she was going up on stage to accept her award. The 22 year old actress, who won for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, was visibly emotional: “You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell and that’s really embarrassing. But thank you,” she told the audience. It seems like Dior made an excellent choice naming Lawrence their new face, as all the buzz around the Oscars is definitely huge publicity. The actress will star in ads for Miss Dior handbags, starting next spring, and some gorgeous shots have already leaked. Jennifer Lawrence paired a cute mini dress with a biker jacket and Yves Saint Laurent sunglasses while strolling through the city with a friend. Lawrence recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, after being awarded an SAG for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook this weekend. Her mom is proud as can be: “I’m so proud because she’s remained who she is throughout this whole process. And it hasn’t changed her. That’s what I’m proud of,” her mom said in the press room at the awards. “I don’t care whether she wins or she loses necessarily, but because she’s won and stayed strong and true to herself, that’s what makes me proud.” The 22 year old did get the award, but her wardrobe malfunction was the talk of the town. Her Christian Dior dress ripped just as she was going on stage to collect her Best Actress award. However, the incident was quickly masked, not showing the audience that something was actually wrong.

The Hunger Games and The Silver Linings Playbook took Jennifer Lawrencefrom the regular 22 year old to fame in just months. A diva on the red carpet, Lawrence looks hip in velvet loafers, distressed jeans and Burberry sunglasses. Is it getting to her head, now that she’s got her Golden Globe and might get an Oscar, too? The actress hosted Saturday Night Live this week, in a successful attempt at humor. “I would never trash-talk any of my fellow nominees at the Golden Globes,” she said, “but the Oscars are another story.” Then she took each and every other Best Actress nominee – Jessica Chastain, Naomi Watts, Emanuelle Riva and Quvenzhane Wallis – and made fun of them. Lawrence continues with a spoof of Katniss Evergreen, showing that she can make fun of herself just as well. The Academy Awards are scheduled on February 24 this year, and Lawrence is nominated for Actress in a Leading Role for Silver Linings Playbook.

The blockbuster was awarded favorite movie, action movie, movie franchise, while the three actors were awarded for their on screen chemistry. And guess who’s the “face of heroism”? That’s right, it’s Jennifer Lawrence! The actress is also in the Academy Award race, who will most likely be nominated for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. The humorously told the magazine: “I’m so aware of all the b.s. that surrounds Hollywood, and how everyone gets on this high horse and thinks that they’re curing cancer and it makes me so uncomfortable every time I see it. So I go in the exact opposite direction and end up saying something like ‘I’m pregnant!’ when I’m in two franchises.”

We’re used to seeing Jennifer Lawrence in her sporty gear: tights, tank top and Burberry sunglasses, as pictured above. However, the actress will sometimes go over the top to amaze the crowd – and we’re not talking Hunger Games style. Lawrence was seen meeting some friends at the Chateau Marmont Hotel, wearing a weirdly asymmetrical spandex dress with a black and white fur coat on top, oxfords and heavy make-up – weird choice, if you ask us! Lawrence probably doesn’t even care, because she often thinks of her fame as a burden: “I call my mom sobbing all the time … dealing with the repercussions of having no more anonymity. You lose privacy. As much as this is a curse, as stupid as it sounds, to make as much money as I am by doing something that I love, it’s hard not to regret it when you’re being chased by 15 strangers,” the actress told Vanity Fair.

The 22 year old actress covers Vanity Fair this month, and she took the opportunity to give us a piece of her mind: “Not to sound rude, but [acting] is stupid. Everybody’s like, ‘How can you remain with a level head?’ And I’m like, ‘Why would I ever get cocky? I’m not saving anybody’s life. There are doctors who save lives and firemen who run into burning buildings. I’m making movies. It’s stupid.’” She also mentioned that she gets starstruck like before she was famous: “Once I’m obsessed with somebody, I’m terrified of them instantly. I’m not scared of them—I’m scared of me and how I will react,” mentioning Meryl Streep as one of her idols. In her Vanity Fair photo shoot, the Hunger Games actress looks feminine and retro, very unlike what we’re used to seeing.

She’s fresh because we haven’t seen her all over the gossip pages for the past three or four years,” the editor in chief of the magazine stated. Lawrence is followed in the top by Mila Kunis, Kate Upton, Rihanna and Emma Stone. And not that she’s afraid of robbers, but she really misses her family! And that’s super normal, given that the actress is just 22. There’s one more thing: “She’s so scared of ghosts that she won’t even look in the mirror out of fear she might see one behind her,” a source said. Is the House at the End of the Streetactress not as brave as she seems on screen? “In real life I’m terrified of horror movies. If I want to watch one, I have to plan out the next three months of my life, because I’ll know I’m going to be afraid of everything – afraid of the dark, afraid of elevators, afraid of my shadow,” she jokes. But prepare to see the 22-year old Hunger Games star as you’ve never seen her before: out at the newsstands on September 25 is her cover of W Magazine, and looking very much like Natalie Portman. Lawrence is donning dramatic ostrich feathers in the photo shoot, and she talks about her experience with the film that made her famous. The actress revealed that she had her doubts taking on such a role: “With Hunger Games, I got really nervous about signing on to that huge franchise. I was afraid that Katniss would overwhelm any other character I’d try to do. But I love Katniss, and she didn’t take over as much of my life as I thought she would. My mom talked about Hunger Games on the red carpet at the Academy Awards, which was something I had told her a million times not to do. She’s like Dina Lohan! But she has good taste.” Actually, her career had plenty of advantages because of Katniss: you can see Lawrence in Silver Linings Playbook this year and in 2013 in Serena, both featuring Bradley Cooper, and she’s also got a main part in House at the End of the Street coming up. Thank God for that, because what other career could she have followed? “I’m such a bad dancer. I don’t have many talents: I’m not a good cook, I can’t clean, and I can’t sew. The only thing I can do well is shoot bow and arrow – which I learned to do for The Hunger Games and will probably never come in handy – and act.”
