Emma Stone is casual in a pair of jeans and ankle boots, with a camel coat and Ray Ban sunglasses. The actress and her co-star, Ryan Reynolds, were invited on Extra to talk about their movie, The Croods, which was the first time any of them did an animation. The on-screen couple has lots of fun together, and Reynolds says (about the animation): “It’s the best process in the entire world. I mean, you show up for two hours out of every two months, which doesn’t legally qualify as a job”. As for The Amazing Spider Man 2, in which she plays with boyfriend Andrew Garfield, Stone says: “It’s been really fun so far”, adding that the movie will be out in May 2014. Until then, you can – well, not see, but hear – Stone in The Croods, in theaters from March 22nd.

Emma Stone takes the time to smell the roses, in a pair of slim jeans and a white sleeveless shirt, with Ray Ban sunglasses covering her eyes – but not her smile. The pretty face of the actress is on newsstands as we speak, on the cover of Company April 2013. She told the magazine that she’s planning to do something crazy to her hair, like cutting it short or dyeing it an unnatural color. But she can’t even decide between the two colors she usually wears: “When it’s blonde, I wish it was red. And when it’s red, I wish it was blonde. I would probably keep it blonde in real life just because blonde grows out better so it’s cheaper. But the studios pay for my hair changes, so that’s cool.” As for her pale complexion, Stone says she stopped fighting it. If, as a child, she’d try sunbathing or spray tans, she has now learned to embrace her very while skin.

In a peasant blouse and Ray Ban sunglasses, Emma Stone is adorable as she always is. The Gangster Squad actress just announced that she signed to star in a new movie, Birdman. The flick also features Naomi Watts, Zach Galifianakis and Michael Keaton, and Stone will play the role of Michael’s daughter/assistant, who just came out of rehab. The movie is scheduled to start shooting in April, while the release will be sometime in 2014. The dark comedy is based on a Alejandro González Iñárritu screenplay, featuring the same director, and it tells the story of an actor who once played a great superhero (Keaton) and is now searching for his lost glory. Meanwhile, Stone is also filming The Amazing Spider Man II, together with boyfriend and co-star Andrew Garfield. The two met on the set of the first movie of the series, and have been together ever since. About the moment they met, Garfield says: “She was the last person to screen-test, and I was so bored of it by then. . . . And then she came in, and it was like diving into whitewater rapids and having no desire to hang on to the side. Throughout shooting, it was wild and exciting. I couldn’t help but try to stay with her, keep pace with her and not let her get away. Like an animal preying on a smaller animal, but a wily smaller animal.”

The Gangster Squad actress talks about red carpet events and starring in dramas: In real life, sometimes it’s uncomfortable for me not to go for the joke. I’ve been looking at that in myself lately. Often, joking for me is a way of diffusing the awkwardness of a situation, so it’s kind of exhilarating to be a part of projects where there’s nothing funny or lighthearted.” Stone continues: “At first, when you go to premieres and award shows, you’re thinking, How the hell am I here? All these people I’ve never met are here, and it’s so cool! And then, as time goes on, it’s a little bit like, Ah…it’s more like work. There are only a couple of events where I’ve truly felt, That was an awesome night—and the Oscars was one of them.”

The 24 year old actress says that she always knew she wanted to act: “My parents knew that there was something a little off about me. So it made sense when I asked, aged 11, if I could take acting classes. Apparently I said to my mum, ‘If I can’t act, I’ll die.’ And then she knew – she knew that only an actress would say something like that.” The precocious Stone also opened up about the paparazzi situation in L.A., saying that she always feels like she has to hide when she’s there. “You find yourself walking around holding your head up like you’re looking in the mirror – and your friends are wondering what’s wrong with you. Then I feel like a jerk because half the time there’s nobody there … still, I really don’t want to be caught with a burger all over my face,” she says. We think she’d still look cute with burger face.

She teamed them with a simple look of skinny jeans, flats, and an elbow patches cardigan. The blonde actress wore her hair up and messy, the perfect look for everyday. The actress and her boyfriend, Andrew Garfield, visited the Cemetery of the Stars this week, hosted by historian Katie Bible, and also attended by Mad Men stars January Jones and Christina Hendricks. A source told the press about the young couple: ‘They both seem to have their heads on straight. They are the most normal couple I have seen.’ Yes, they even go to the mall together, and all those normal and boring activities we all do. Apparently, the two aren’t in any rush to get engaged – for now, they’ll be focusing on their careers. Wise choice, given that Stone is only 23, and Garfield is 29. ‘They just love spending time together. They are absolutely adorable together,’ said the same source.

The actress has been spotted this week at Shamrock Tattoo in West Hollywood and sources believe that she is now sporting a new tattoo. Stone and her mother got matching tattoos back in 2010, and the actress said she probably won’t get another one soon: “We’ve never gotten tattoos before and probably never will again. Two years ago tomorrow she got diagnosed with breast cancer, and she’s out of the woods now, which is amazing. I wrote a letter to Paul McCartney asking him if he would draw two little bird feet – because he wrote the song – and yesterday he sent them to me,” she stated that year. This time, she was accompanied by boyfriend Andrew Garfield, so maybe she matched her tattoo with his? The couple appear really close lately, going out for dates at the Cirque de Soleil or at book stores. Stone still finds the time to catch up with pal Taylor Swift, though, and we think the two make some of the most stylish friends in Hollywood!
