37 year old Charlize Theron is no longer the goldie locks pictured above in Tom Ford sunglasses – the actress now rocks a super short do, as a result of her filming for Mad Max: Fury Road this summer. And who knew she wasn’t a natural blonde? Theron is currently in her native Cape Town, South Africa, where she spends time with baby boy Jackson and her mom, between two shoots for the Mad Maxsequel. “This film is significant because it is the largest commercial film that has been produced in South Africa. It’s a major Hollywood production. Its presence here is going to be creating 800 jobs in South Africa for the duration of that particular film. So I think this marks a milestone in an evolving programme of support for the film industry,” said Minister Rob Davies at the Cape Town Film Studios. However, it seems that Theron and her co-star, Tom Hardy, are struggling to get on on set. “Professionally, they are doing a wonderful job, but in-between takes Tom likes to stay in character and is constantly talking to himself and mumbling things,” a source told the press.

After rumors that she would be dating Eric Stonestreet of Modern Family, things are finally settling down for Charlize Theron. The actress adopted a boy this May, and named him Jackson – so a new man in her life could’ve been quite helpful, especially after coming out of a 9 year relationship with Stuart Townsend in 2010. The 37 year old actress is focusing on her new child and her fulfilling career, appearing to be a skillful independent woman. After Snow White and the Huntsman this year, the South African actress is announced to be part of the cast for the sequel of the film, coming out at an unknown time. She’s also filming a sequel for Mad Max (“Fury Road”) and is rumored to be in talks with the crew for Murder Mystery. With such a busy work schedule, when would she have time for dating Stonestreet?

The Prometheus actress, Charlize Theron, can go in just a few days from red carpet glamorous beauty to a bold Furiosa. Say what? Just recently, Theron attended the MTV Movie Awards, looking flawless in a strapless, peplum red dress, but she’s only been seen wearing a hat since. At a closer view, it looks like the actress cut off her blond locks – and she did it for the part of “Furiosa”, for the upcoming production of Mad Max 4 (“Fury Road”). She’ll start shooting next month in Africa, together with Tom Hardy: “The original Mad Max created such a vivid world, so to go back and re-imagine it and re-play in that sandbox sounds like fun to me. Its a really challenging piece of material… I feel very lucky,” she said. The gorgeous blond doesn’t look bad at all in her new haircut, following the footsteps of Anne Hathaway or Natalie Portman, who’ve also gone bald for their career in the past.Let’s take a moment to remember her long hair, covered in a beanie and in Fendi sunglasses, shall we?

It’s true: blonds have more fun! Actresses Charlize Theron and Reese Witherspoon – both of which share the common interest of babies – have recently had a girls night out. The two had a great time at dinner over at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, and both looked glowing. Since Theron has a child at home and Witherspoon is expecting, the two friends called it a night before 10.30. Still in West Hollywood, this time at Soho House, Theron was spotted on her second date with True Blood actor Alexander Skarsgard, a witness stating that they looked “couple-y”, with Theron resting her head on his shoulder.

With such busy nights, Charlize Theron still manages to look effortlessly chic during the day: here she is in jeans with white, layered tops and a pair of Dolce&Gabbana aviators.

Charlize has just become a member of the Single-Hollywood-Moms club announcing yesterday that she’s adopted a son. The gorgeous Oscar winning actress’s rep announced that she “is the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson,” putting her in the company with a slew of actresses who have adopted a child as a single mother, including Sandra Bullock, Connie Britton, and Kristin Davis. Little Jackson–who was born in the US and is of African-American descent–is the first child for the South African-born beauty. She’s currently single following a nine-year relationship with actor Stuart Townsend which ended in 2010.

Although she has said marriage was not necessarily at the top of her to-do list, being a mother has been. “I want a baby,” she revealed last August. “If it would happen tomorrow I would be very happy.” Hinting at the time of her desire to adopt, Charlize added, “There are so many unwanted children on this earth and it’s our job to care for them. And if we don’t, we’re doing the world a disservice.” Sources close to actress dished to Us Weekly that Charlize has “always wanted to be a mom,” and “She is glad to be able to do it on her own now.” Here, the proud new mum goes daytime glam in blingy gold top and chic cat-eye shades. –rpuccia

Charlize Theron recently opened up about not being used to being alone in the December issue of Vogue Mag. “I’ve never been single,” the actress, 36, reveals . “This is the first time in my life. From the time I was 19, I’ve been in relationships, literally gone from one to the other within a month.” The South African beauty split with love of nine years Stuart Townsend in January 2010. She admits that she was desperate to save her relationship with Townsend. “It was sinking, and I had to give it a fight,” she explains. “I really wanted to try and make it work. That was the priority. I wouldn’t do it any different way.”

But on the brighter side, according to Charlize, the breakup helped reinvigorate her acting career. She has several new films in the works–including Young Adult and as the Evil Queen in 2012′s darker adaptation of Snow White and the Huntsman with Twilight phenom Kristen Stewart. “I really, really missed it, she said.   She even comments on Kristen’s talent in the interview saying, “Kristen is just living this to the max and still has a sense of humor about it.
