Mirror mirror, who’s the loveliest of them all? Well, according to People magazine, it’s Beyonce Knowles. The new mom just nabbed the top spot on the coveted “People’s World’s Most Beautiful Woman 2012″ list. And what does she attribute to her enviable glow these days? Her baby daughter with rap phenom Jay-Z, Blue Ivy, of course. “I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth,” Beyonce says in an exclusive interview with the magazine. “I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth.” In fact, she’s so head-over-heels in love with her little girl that she even claims to “love” changing Blue’s diapers. “She’s just the cutest thing,” Beyonce gushes. “The word ‘love’ means something completely different now.” This is the ninth time Beyonce has made the magazine’s Most Beautiful People list, but her first time on the cover of the special issue.

Other stars that made the 2012 list include veterans Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman–who have made the list 13 times and 10 times respectively. Here, Beyonce is radiant with Blue Ivy in tow wearing mommy-chic  Christian Dior wayfarers. –rpuccia

Beyonce and Jay-Z got a fantastic start to 2012 with the birth of their baby girl, Blue Ivy. Beyonce gave birth at NYC’s Lenox Hill Hospital on Saturday via C-section, apparently in the super-star-style she’s become all too accustomed to. According to various sources, the proud new parents pulled out all the stops to make sure they welcomed their new baby girl in high style, reportedly shelling out a whopping $1.3 million to take over a swanky, newly renovated suite–and according to some reports an entire floor –of Lenox Hospital. What’s more, when Beyonce checked in — under the pseudonym Ingrid Jackson — her diva-ish demands included a full-scale security team, hospital staffers being forced to turn over their cell phones (to avoid any unauthorized picture snapping), and the lenses of the floor’s security cameras being covered with tape. Can’t say this royal couple didn’t cover ALL the bases.

Their star-powered friends also came out in droves on Twitter to offer congrats including Gwyneth Paltrow, Rihanna and Russell Simmons. According to GMA, the couple chose “Ivy” because of the significance of the number “4″ or “IV,” —  Beyonce and Jay-Z were born on Sept. 4 and Dec. 4, respectively, were married on April 4, 2008, and Beyonce’s latest album is entitled 4. Bet it won’t be long before Beyonce is back to her svelte “fighting weight” as she is here in true diva style donning these Persol shades.  –rpuccia

Beyonce in Ray Ban Sunglasses

The MTV Video Music Awards are usually an eclectic event to begin with, but Beyonce managed to upstage the 28th annual VMAs with her belly during the pre-show festivities. The 29-year-old superstar revealed that she’s expecting her first child with rap sensation husband Jay-Z on the red carpet, where she wore an orange gown by French design house Lanvin. She let the rest of the world in on her secret later that night, when she hit the stage in a purple sequined D&G blazer to belt out “Love on Top.” In case you missed it, Beyonce ripped open the jacket to reveal her baby bump at the end of her performance, rubbed her belly and repeated the news she shared earlier, obviously delighting 41-year-old Jay-Z in the audience.

The event shattered Twitter’s record of the highest number of tweets sent per second: a whopping 8,868. “BEYONCE IS PREGNANT” became a huge Trending Topic on Twitter, and the world hasn’t yet recovered from the news. Beyonce looks positively glowing in these classic Ray Ban Wayfarers, and she’s sure to blossom even more as the months go by. Watch out, Brangelina—there’s a new golden child on its way.

Beyonce Knowles in Dolce and Gabbana Sunglasses

It’s safe to say that celebrities known by one name—a la Madonna—have pretty big star power, but record label executives are supposedly freaked out that Beyonce’s latest album won’t be a chart-topping sensation. Ms. Knowles released her first solo album, Dangerously in Love, during a hiatus of her now-defunct R&B girl group Destiny’s Child. It spawned the #1 hits “Crazy in Love” and “Baby Boy,” helped her win a whopping five Grammy Awards, and became one of the most successful albums of 2003. Her second solo album B’Day came out in 2006, followed by I Am… Sasha Fierce in 2008, which included the ultra-popular “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It.)” She also brought home six Grammys for Sasha Fierce.

Beyonce’s latest musical endeavor, the appropriately titled “4,” is her fourth solo release, and its first single “Run the World (Girls)” left some fans confused since it wasn’t the Beyonce they’d grown to love. Early reviews claim that 4 is subtle and surprising, a bit more creative than the usual “bootylicious” dance music that Beyonce typically puts out. Beyonce herself told Billboard that she recorded over 60 songs while making the album. “Everything I ever wanted to try, I just did it,” she explained. 4 will be officially available on June 28, 2011. Whatever happens with the album, Beyonce looks as hot as ever in these stylish Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses. Beyonce Knowles in Marc Jacobs Sunglasses

Beyonce has axed Daddy as her manager. According to her publicist, the Grammy-winning singer will no longer be managed by her father, Mathew Knowles, announced through a statement to The Associated Press. Beyonce stated that though they have parted ways on a business level, “I am grateful for everything he has taught me…he is my father for life and I love my dad dearly.”  She didn’t elaborate on what led to the split, but her father said in a separate AP statement that the decision was mutual. “Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success,” he said.

Mathew has managed all aspects of Beyonce’s career since she debuted as a teen in the multiplatinum-selling group Destiny’s Child in the late 1990s and throughout her superstar career as a solo artist. Her career includes 16 Grammy awards, top-grossing movies Dreamgirls and Obsessed, fashion ventures and lucrative endorsements. She’s released three multiplatinum albums – “Dangerously In Love,” “B’Day” and “I Am … Sasha Fierce” – and has 12 Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. There was no comment on who Beyonce’s new manager will be, but can’t help but wonder if hubby Jay-Z will be taking over the reigns. Besides, together they were named the 2010 top-earning power duo in Hollywood by Forbes Mag after pulling in $122 million. It was pretty clear who the “real” star was when the R&B girl group Destiny’s Child hit the charts in the late 90s. So it was no surprise when Beyonce’s first solo album in ’06, B’Day, debuted at number one on the Billboard charts. Her third solo album in ’08, I Am… Sasha Fierce, earned her six Grammy Awards, breaking the record for most Grammy Awards won by a female artist in one night.  In fact, she is one of the most decorated Grammy artists with a total of 16 awards— 13 as a solo artist and 3 as a member of Destiny’s Child. Her successful acting career (she starred in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Dreamgirls and earned two Golden Globe noms) and her family’s fashion line, House of Deréon, complete the trifecta.
