Blonde, gorgeous Amber Heard has the honor of serving as Grand Marshal of the 33rd annual Budweiser Shootout on Saturday, February 12, 2011. The dazzling Hollywood actress— who can be seen in All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, The Stepfather, The Joneses, and Zombieland— will give the famous starting command of “Gentlemen start your engines!” as NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers compete in the non-points event that kicks off the stock car portion of Speedweeks 2011 at the newly repaved Daytona International Speedway in sunny Florida.
Not a NASCAR fan? You can catch Amber in theaters alongside Nicolas Cage in Drive Angry 3D, which is slated for a February 25 release. She’s even in talks to star in a remake of the classic 80s fantasy film Red Sonja. Quite a step up from her early days on the short-lived teen drama Hidden Palms, which only aired for 8 episodes on the CW, wouldn’t you say?
