Well, after seven years together and six children, it looks like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are finally ready to tie the knot! Though there’s no date set for the nuptials, the engagement is apparently more than just a rumor this time–Brad’s manager, Cynthia Pett-Dante confirmed the news to USA Today: “Yes, it’s confirmed. It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy.” After Angie was spotted last week donning a mysterious blingy ring on her finger while attending an event at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, speculation swirled about an engagement.

Turns out, Brad designed the ring with the couple’s jeweler friend Robert Procop, who is behind the “Style of Jolie” jewelry line, which he sells on his website. And the gem expert himself also confirmed the news: “Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration,” Robert told THR. “He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so I was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina’s hand.” We’d expect nothing less, as she is also perfection here in these super-chic over-sized tortoise shades.  –rpuccia

Selma Blair is basking in the joy of her recently born son, Arthur Saint. But as overjoyed as this 39-year-old new mom is over her new addition, she is also experiencing a few not-so-joyful side effects from the birth of her bundle of joy. In an interview with People magazine, Selma revealed that she’s losing her hair! Yes, like going bald. “This is so not glamorous, but it’s true: I need to take longer showers so that I can collect the hair that falls out and throw it away so I don’t clog the drain.” (oh, boy.) Selma went on to explain that the hair loss started when her son was about three months old. “I’m not a girl who likes extensions,” she told People. “So Selma’s going to be bald.”

Apparently, this isn’t the first time that Selma has shared personal–and brutally honest–details about post-baby life. Back in September, the actress said that she hadn’t lost ANY weight (not one pound) since the birth in July. “I still weigh the exact same number. I haven’t really been focusing on that at all, because I’ve been running around…” Fans can certainly appreciate this down-to-earth starlet. Turns out, everything Kim Kardashian touches DOES turn to gold–ratings gold that is. An astounding ten-and-a-half million viewers tuned in to see the reality mogul wed NBA star Kris Humphries in a two-night, four-hour special event on E! this past Sunday and Monday, the network confirmed in a ratings release. Sunday was the most-watched day in the network’s history, with Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event garnering more than six times the number of E!’s normal primetime viewers. Attended by celebrity guests including Ryan Seacrest, Lindsay Lohan and Eva Longoria, the couple’s August 20 nuptials were held in Montecito, Calif., Kim’s sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, served as co-maids of honor, while younger sisters Kendall, Kylie, and Kris’ sister Kaela were bridesmaids. Kim and Kris–who got engaged in May after a brief six month courtship–documented their trip down the aisle in the two-part series including some interesting “tense” moments while planning quite possibly one of the most lavish nuptials this side of the Atlantic.

In the wake of “fairy-tale” wedding, Kim and momager Kris Jenner went on The Rachael Ray Show to squash rumors squelch that she received $20 million for rights to her nuptials. “I would literally get married 10 times if that were true!” Kim said. Still, The Hollywood Reporter has reported that she got paid $1.5 million by People magazine for the photo rights, and that her planner said the wedding would have cost $6 million, but she received most of the goods for free or discounted in exchange for publicity. Kim also joked about the wedding cost: “I don’t care if I were Oprah Winfrey. I would never spend that on one day! That’s ridiculous.” Cmon, Kim we all know that’s not true. Victoria Beckham gave birth to her first daughter last weekend, and she and hunky hubby David bestowed upon their little one a unique, but meaningful name: Harper Seven! Already a mom to sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6, Victoria gushed “we all feel so blessed, and the boys love their baby sister so much.” Born at 7:55 Sunday morning at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A., the Beckhams’ first daughter weighed in at 7 lbs, 10 oz. So what’s the deal with the A-list couple choosing such a unique name for their latest addition? “Harper is an old English name that [Victoria] has always liked,” a source recently told Us Weekly. And “Seven is a very spiritual lucky number. She was born in the seventh month, in the seventh hour.” The number also happens to correspond to soccer star daddy’s old jersey number when he played in England.

The 37-year-old fashion designer just can’t help but fawn over her newborn daughter tweeting just yesterday, “Baby Harper is the most beautiful baby girl I have ever seen. I have fallen in love all over again!” Incidentally, the Beckhams’ little girl isn’t the first Harper in Hollywood: Tiffani Thiessen and husband Brady Smith named their daughter Harper Renn last June. Hunky actor Jude Law was lucky enough to snag an invite to Kate Moss’ London wedding on July 2, and the bearded Englishman was photographed by the paparazzi wearing a dark James Bond-esque suit and shades to the ceremony. Jude’s “plus-one” was none other than his ex-wife and baby mama, actress Sadie Frost. The duo’s marriage ended on a sour note—Sadie even described its excessive ups and downs in her autobiography—but celebrity gossipmongers claim that the couple looked relaxed in one another’s presence and asked Kate and her groom, rocker Jamie Hince, if their son Rafferty could serve as an usher during the nuptials.

Jude has also been linked to Sierra Miller, his co-star in the 2004 comedy/drama Alfie. The pair met during filming in late 2003, became engaged at Christmastime a year later, and broke up in 2006. They briefly rekindled their romance in late 2009—after the story broke that Jude was model Samantha Burke’s baby-daddy—but split again earlier this year. The smokin’ hot Panamanian-born beauty known as Jordana Brewster first hit the Hollywood scene in her late teens in 1995. A one-episode stint on the soap opera All My Children was the spark that started the fire—Jordana soon landed a recurring role on As the World Turns and took on a lead part in the 1998 horror flick The Faculty.

These days, the brunette bombshell is best known for her roles in 2001’s big-budget car-themed action film The Fast and the Furious, 2006’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and two other installments of the Fast and Furious franchise, Fast & Furious in 2009 and Fast Five in 2011. KM’s taking it on the road. Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue has just announced the North American dates for her upcoming Aphrodite – Live 2011 tour. The highly anticipated tour will highlight music from her eleventh studio album, Aphrodite, and begins April 28 in Montreal through May 22 where she’ll close the tour at the legendary Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, NV. In fact, Kylie’s world tour kicks off next week– February 19 –in Denmark and will play in arenas throughout Europe & Japan before hitting Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.

Leighton Meester might not be a privileged Manhattanite a la her Gossip Girl character Blair Waldorf, but she’s doing pretty darn well for herself despite being born to a convict. (She’s even joked with the press, “Look, I could’ve turned out a lot worse,” when questioned about her upbringing.)
