Painstakingly gorgeous Olivia Wilde of House; Tron: Legacy; and Cowboys & Aliens fame filed for divorce from husband Tao Ruspoli earlier this year due to the age-old irreconcilable differences, but most of her fans never even knew she was married to begin with. Olivia, who is a natural blond despite her usual dark tresses, grew up in Washington, D.C., and tied the knot with the Italian-American documentary filmmaker Tao—who just happens to be the son of an Italian prince!—on an abandoned school bus at the tender age of nineteen.

Oh, and as for her hair color? “I’m a natural blonde, but I feel like a brunette. I feel like people treat me now how I should be treated. People used to be shocked, when I was blond, that I wasn’t stupid. I used to get these comments that I swear people thought were compliments. Like, ‘Oh! You’re smart!’ – like they couldn’t believe it,” she once told the media.

Long before she was Billy Bob Thornton’s ex-wife and the female half of Brangelina, super sexy Angelina Jolie was an aspiring fashion model. She appeared in several music videos during the early 1990s, including Lenny Kravitz’s “Stand by My Woman,” The Lemonheads’ “It’s About Time” and Meat Loaf’s “Rock & Roll Dreams Come Through.”

Her critically acclaimed performances in the made-for-TV movies George Wallace in 1997 and Gia in 1998 may have led to her Academy Award winning role in the 1999 drama Girl, Interrupted (Angie took home the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for playing mental institution patient Lisa Rowe alongside Winona Ryder, Brittany Murphy, Whoopi Goldberg and Vanessa Redgrave) but her portrayal of video game heroine Lara Croft in 2001’s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider turned her into one of the best-known and highest paid actresses in Hollywood.

Earlier this month, the company GK Films acquired the film rights to Lara Croft and plans to bring her back to the big screen by 2013 … with another actress filling Angie’s shoes. Producer Graham King described his plans in a press release as a “Lara Croft reboot.” He knows Jolie well (they worked together on The Tourist) but she hasn’t expressed much interest in returning to the character. Kate Beckinsale in Salvatore Ferragamo Sunglasses

English actress Kate Beckinsale has just signed on to star in the upcoming film Contraband, a remake of the Icelandic thriller known as Reykjavik-Rotterdam. (No wonder they changed the name for American audiences!) Mark Wahlberg, is also in the movie.

Kate appeared in the smash hit Pearl Harbor opposite Ben Affleck in 2001, so she’s used to starring with Hollywood hunks. By the way, she can also be seen in Underworld, The Aviator, Van Helsing and Nothing But the Truth, among others.
