Eva Mendes in Miu Miu Sunglasses

The gorgeous Eva Mendes is not only the face of the most popular fragrance on the planet, Angel by Thierry Mugler, she’s also the voice. Last week, the 37-year-old actress unveiled the top-selling fragrance’s new global print ad campaign in NYC, and revealed that she will be singing in the broadcast commercials coming this fall. Eva describes the striking campaign as ethereal, “yet it’s strong and it almost has a carnival-like feel to it.” She has the highest compliments for the collaborators on the ad series: “I really can honestly say I’ve never felt so creatively satisfied with doing a campaign before. From the costuming to the music to the fact that I sing on the commercial to the overall look, I just feel like it’s been a true partnership and I couldn’t be happier.”

The perfume commercial marks Eva’s singing debut, and when she learned that she’d be crooning one of her favorite songs of all time, “Windmills of Your Mind,” that sealed the deal for her.  Though she doesn’t claim to be the best singer in the world, Eva laughs when asked if she has the voice of an angel. “My mother would think so!” she says. “The good thing about ‘Windmills of Your Mind’ is that it’s almost like reading poetry.” Here, Eva’s the epitome of an angel diva in these impossibly glam Miu Miu shades, which come in four frame colors.  –rpuccia

After numerous false alarms and tabloid reports, edgy supermodel Kate Moss is reportedly finally engaged to longtime love Jamie Hince. The British paper The Sun first broke the news, noting that rockstar Hince popped the question Tuesday night, and the couple are planning a July 2 wedding. And to seal the deal, the uber-stylish Moss stepped out in London flashing a huge new diamond ring, blinding folks at every turn. AnnaLynne McCord was the second actor to be cast in the CW series 90210, a remake of the original 1990s hit Beverly Hills, 90210. She’s often typecast as “just another blonde vixen,” but AnnaLynne received the Hollywood Life Young Hollywood Superstar of Tomorrow Award in 2009 and it looks like she’s well on her way there—she also nabbed a 2010 Breakthrough of the Year Award in the category “Breakthrough Standout Performance” for her portrayal of Naomi Clark on 90210.
