The old saying goes: it was fun while it lasted! After five months together, Gossip Girl vixen Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio have parted ways–confirmed by reps for both stars exclusively to Us Weekly, adding the pair “remain friends.” First spotted getting cozy while aboard Steven Spielberg’s yacht in Monte Carlo back in May during the Cannes Film Festival, the couple embarked on a whirlwind,  summer romance that spanned the globe. During their time together, the actress, 24, and Inception star, 36, took their kanoodling everywhere from Venice, Italy to L.A. to NYC. In late August, Blake even flew thousands of miles to Sydney, Australia — for a quick weekend — where her now ex-beau was filming The Great Gatsby.

The pair’s recent split is sure to come as a surprise to some of Leo’s pals, one of whom told Us they’d “never seen him like this with a girl.” Back in June, the couple holed up in Leo’s L.A. home, where Blake apparently “spent the whole time baking. Pals added that Leo’s “never dated a girl who can cook and he’s smitten!” The duo also bonded with one another’s parents. Another insider echoed the sentiments: “I bet they get engaged in six months.” As for Blake, she’s said over and over that she never lets public opinion affect her relationships. “I have a strong sense of myself. That gives me a sense of security…Every relationship you have, you’re learning and growing and taking something from that,” she recently told Glamour magazine. “So for me, it’s never been too dramatic of a thing when something ends.” Here Blake’s coveted sense of style shines through in these gorgeous D&G shades, available in yellow and black frame hues with silver accents.  –rpuccia

Megan Fox in Stylish Rectangle-Framed Eyeglasses

Photo: Coolspotters.com

No one quite heats up the Web like actress Megan Fox. Her stunning looks and, well, controversial comments (which got her fired from the last Transformers movie) captivate fans. Megan’s newest antics involve her famous and plentiful body art–or removal of it, that is. She decided to nix her tattoo of iconic film legend Marilyn Monroe, which has been noticeably fading from visibility on Megan’s forearm compared to photos from a few years ago. She finally confirmed the news to Italian magazine Amica (where she graces the September cover) that she is, in fact, having the tattoo removed. Why, you ask? Megan explains in the interview, “I’m removing it. It is a negative character, as she suffered from personality disorders and was bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life.” (Monroe was known to be in psychoanlaysis, and there remain many theories to the actual state of the star’s mental health.) The 24-year-old has said in the past that these same qualities inspired her to get the ink in the first place. In a 2009 Us Weekly interview, Megan said, “I really admire Marilyn Monroe, but I would never try to emulate her.” She went on say that she got the tattoo as a warning to not let herself be treated so badly by the film industry so that it breaks her down.

Even though the ink is fading on Megan’s forearm, the star has been taking on Monroe-esque curves lately. The actress also tells Amica mag she’s dumped her vegan diet, which was limited to raw fruit and vegetables, and no bread, coffee, or sugar. “Now I eat a bit of everything,” she says. Here’s she’s all bombshell, but with a nerdy-chic edge in these stylish rectangle-framed eyeglasses.  –rpuccia
