Hunky Mark Wahlberg is putting his money where his mouth is. Now you can get a “juicy” Wahlberg fix–at Wahlburgers! On Monday night in Hingham, Massachusetts, just outside his native Boston, the Academy-nominated actor and producer opened his new burger joint with older brothers Paul and Donnie. With Paul wearing the chef hat, the grand opening was a true family affair as the brothers’ invited mom Alma Elaine to join them on the red carpet. The restaurant’s menu offers hamburgers with Paul’s secret sauce, white bean and prosciutto soup, and Italian cold cut sandwiches among other items. But it wasn’t all peaches and cream getting this burger joint up and running. The Wahlberg brothers faced a small battle in landing their desired name for the restaurant; “Wahlbergers” was previously the name of a fast food chain in upstate New York, where the burgers sold for $4.49. Now that The Fighter star and his brothers are flipping the burgers, they’re a few dollars more–to the tune of $6.25 for a 5 oz. burger. The Wahlburgers’ menu promises that dining in their restaurant will feel like a meal at the Wahlberg home.

The boys concurred that opening night was really about big bro Paul. Chef Paul admitted that opening a burger restaurant has been his dream. “I am so passionate about this,” he said. Mark said that Wahlburgers is the perfect project for Paul. “He’s a five-star chef, but all he’ll eat are burgers! I’m serious. He goes out and eats a burger everywhere he goes. From one place to the next. He always makes them for himself. Last week Vanessa Hudgens enjoyed some retail therapy with younger sis Stella, hitting some of her favorite stores like Wasteland and Urban Outfitters. Nessa was photographed sporting some roar-worthy animal-print shorts and a pair of wedge heels, a total 180 from her usual boho style, but her clothing choices aren’t the only thing that’s changed— she recently chopped off her luscious locks. The short haircut shocked some fans, but considering it was for her role in the upcoming flick Gimme Shelter, it was all in a day’s work for this former Disney darling.

Nessa plays a pregnant teen that’s turned away by her Wall Street father, played by Brendan Frasier. She’s forced to hit the streets in order to survive because against her father’s wishes, she refuses to have an abortion. Not quite as perky as HSM, that’s for sure, but Vanessa is excited for everyone to see the film. Katie Holmes is best-known for her TV and movie roles (well, and for being Mrs. Tom Cruise!) but she actually has an extensive background in theater and dance. In 2008, she made her Broadway debut in All My Sons and she’s even a founding member of the Dizzy Feet Foundation, an organization which helps underprivileged youth realize their dream of becoming professional dancers while supporting, improving, and increasing access to dance education in the United States. That’s why it’s no surprise that Katie has been announced as a celebrity guest judge on the So You Think You Can Dance finale, a 2-hour live episode which airs on FOX this Wednesday, August 10.

In addition to her acting chops, Katie also receives quite a bit of recognition for her fashion sense. Believe it or not, she recently told Marie Claire magazine that 5-year-old daughter Suri is one of her fashion inspirations. “My daughter has been choosing her own outfits since she was two. We go to fabric stores and sew together. Sometimes I take inspiration from Suri’s fashion choices,” Katie told the popular mag. “Suri is my style critic. Brad Pitt in Retro-Inspired Havana Brown Sunglasses

Brad Pitt’s latest film Tree of Life just nabbed the Palme d’Or, the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival. Set in the 1950s, the movie explores deep spiritual issues set within the framework of a rural Southern family’s day-to-day life. Brad, who stars along with Jessica Chastain and Sean Penn, also produced the film, and it begins a limited-release in theaters today. Consequent to the film’s nature, Brad’s been extensively quoted about his religious beliefs. He spoke frankly at a recent a press conference that the religious aspects of Tree of Life made him slightly uncomfortable, saying, “I got brought up being told things were God’s way, and when things didn’t work out it was called God’s plan. I’ve got my issues with it. Don’t get me started. It was very stifling.”  Tell us how you really feel, Brad!

Turns out the 47-year-old actor was raised in Missouri as a Southern Baptist, but had “a crisis of faith” of sorts in high school, and by college he “got untethered from the comfort of religion–it wasn’t a loss of faith, it was a discovery of self.” And while Brad may not be attached to a specific religion at this time, some members of the press who have followed him since his early Thelma and Louise–River Runs Through It–Legends of the Fall days say he seems to always follow the golden rule of  “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” One went so far as to say that Brad’s so polite and friendly, he even pours glasses of water out for the press at movie junkets. Natalie’s got another man in her life other than fiance and baby-daddy Benjamin Millepied–and his name is Oscar. She nabbed Best Actress at Sunday night’s 83rd Academy Awards for her role in the disturbing ballet-themed thriller Black Swan. She beat out some impressive company including Annette Bening (The Kids are Alright), Nicole Kidman (Rabbit Hole), Michelle Williams (Blue Valentine), and newcomer Jennifer Lawrence (Winter’s Bone). Nat went into the night as the frontrunner for her rivoting, sexually-charged portrayal of Nina Sayers, a ballet dancer whose drive for perfection as the lead in her company’s production of Swan Lake pushes her to the edge of madness. In the film, Nina displays a number of psychotic symptoms, including strong delusions and elaborate visual hallucinations. And she begins to feel paranoid that Lily (Mila Kunis), her understudy, is determined to take the lead away from her. Natalie’s performance had already earned her Best Actress prizes at the Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild Awards, and Britain’s BAFTAs. Directed by Darren Aronofsky, the starlet and Harvard grad trained for six months before filming and boy did it pay off.

What’s next for this darling of the big screen other than becoming a mama? Your Highness, a fantasy comedy opposite James Franco and Zooey Deschanel due out this April and the Marvel superhero film, Thor, with Chris Hemsworth set to be released in May.
