Celebrities wearing Burberry sunglasses
Sunglasses trends straight from Fashion Week.
New York, London and Milan have already hosted their bi-annual fashion weeks. There's only Paris left, and we've already noticed some trends. Let's start with Roberto Cavalli, who showed a very delicate, '20s inspired collection, quite unusual for the house's opulent style. The sunglasses, however, we're modern as can be: mirror aviators, with details at the temples that made for a steampunk look.

Moschino had a very diverse presentation, with models of all ages, some more famous than others. The whole collection was a mix of trends, and we liked seeing the '50s inspired cat eye glasses. Both sunglasses and eyeglasses were shaped like this, the former having embellishments all around, and the latter being more simple.
Anna Sui decided on a futuristic look, with an exaggerated cat eye shape with strong details at the sides and nose bridge. The sunglasses complemented the boho-chic collection, and they remind us of Uma Thurman's role as Poison Ivy.
The impressive Burberrry Prorsum collection was based on pretty pastels and lace. The sunglasses, however, were a bit rough: white, oval shaped, wide and short. They did look great on the perfect bone structure of models, but we can't help but wonder how they'd translate in real life.

The DKNY collection came with lots of denim and monochrome looks. The sunglasses, also monochrome, were simple and classic: trendy, without being too obvious.

Fendi put on a great show, based on gradient colors. The sunglasses, however, are metallic and round, with sharp crystals at the sides that turns the shape into cat eye. That's definitely something new, and something that will catch one with fashionistas.

At Gucci, the whole collection was colored in rich, jewel tones, sunglasses included. The style on the runway is oversized and angular, with a dark upper rim and lighter sides. The purple lenses have a interesting effect – and we kind of missed them in sunglasses!

Marc by Marc Jacobs caught our eye (pun intended) with a pair of warm colored rimless sunglasses. They're butterfly shaped, with just a few visible screws, and they make a great contrast with the tern color of the trench coat they're shown with.

Ralph Lauren mixed up their usual preppy style with quite unusual sunglasses: oversized, black, shield shaped and completely unwearable. Perhaps during ski season?

Marc Jacobs accessorized his spring collection with a classic: round, keyhole sunglasses in burgundy. Honestly, it's refreshing to see something so simple and wearable on the runway, every once in a while.

Rosie Huntington Whitely arrives at the airport with her Louis Vuitton luggage, wearing Burberry sunglasses with a J Bran denim jacket, a black midi skirt, and an animal print Mulberry bag. After making an impression at the Met Gala last week, in a memorable Gucci gown, the model was invited on Chelsea Lately. The Transformers: Dark of the Moon star confessed that she only had two weeks before she was given the role and the filming started – which gave her very little time to train for her first ever movie. Unfortunately, her run was “somewhat like Pheobe from Friends”, so the fitness trainer had to teach her how to run properly, action movie style. She also speaks about being a tall girl who usually dates guys that are shorter than her. Her current boyfriend, Jason Statham, is just a bit taller than her – when she's not wearing heels. That's probably a sign they will work!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley arrives at the airport in one of her super chic outfits, with a fedora hat, Burberry sunglasses, a Chloe sweater, Helmut Lang leather pants and a Loewe bag. The 26 year old model attended the Met Ball on Monday evening, and she wore a stunning vintage inspired gown, with a mesh top and olive skirt. The theme of the evening was punk couture, so Rosie’s mesh and feathers dress was spot on! Before the event, the model instagrammed pictures of her make-up and nails, captioned “My girl @monikablundermakeup giving me #chaostocouture make up for #metball2013.” The model is currently the face of Marks & Spencer Autograph, and she’s also involved with the design. The line will be out in selected stores at the end of August. “I’ve always wanted to design – that’s actually why I got into modelling in the first place – but I love going up to the headquarters and being around Soozie Jenkinson [head of lingerie design at M&S] and learning, learning, learning,” she confessed.

Poor Taylor Lautner, it’s not always enough being handsome when you want to be a great actor! The Twilight star – pictured here in denim and his Burberry sunglasses – recently got a new award in his collection. But it’s not the kind of award any actor wants – unless they truly believe that any publicity is good publicity. Lautner was awarded Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Screen Couple for Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 at the Razzies, “helping” the movie become the most awarded of the evening. Other “winners” were Kristen Stewart for Worst Actress, and Rihanna for Worst Supporting Actress, while the film got Worst Picture. Perhaps this should be read as a sign that the sage should finally be over? Either way, Lautner still has his abs, and there’s no award he won’t win for that!

It’s not very often that the same person manages to be both the laughing stock and the most admired person at a single event. But it’s the case of Jennifer Lawrence, who got the award for Best Actress at the 2013 Academy Awards. However, things didn’t go as smoothly for the Dior Couture wearing actress, who tripped and fell on the stairs as she was going up on stage to accept her award. The 22 year old actress, who won for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, was visibly emotional: “You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell and that’s really embarrassing. But thank you,” she told the audience. It seems like Dior made an excellent choice naming Lawrence their new face, as all the buzz around the Oscars is definitely huge publicity. The actress will star in ads for Miss Dior handbags, starting next spring, and some gorgeous shots have already leaked. Pictured here in a less glamorous look, Jennifer Lawrence takes care of her body at the gym, in Adidas tights, a loose ponytail/bun and Burberry sunglasses.
