We already knew Tyra Banks has beauty and brains thanks to the success of her endeavors under her very own company Bankable Productions. A supermodel, TV host, NY Times Best Selling author, and actress, Tyra can now add Ivy League grad to her long list of accomplishments. The America’s Next Top Model creator and host has just graduated with a certificate from the Owner/President Management Program at the prestigious Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Tyra–who actually dropped out of Loyola Marymount University to pursue modeling at age 17–said she enrolled in the Ivy League program to better her brand. “In order for my company to grow and be the best, and to reach these women, and to serve them, I needed the best…So I went to the best.” At 38, Tyra admitted that her decision to pursue higher education was met with skepticism at first. “When people have low expectations, you’re just constantly going, ‘Ta-da!’ And they’re like ‘Wow!’” she said.

To add to the great news, the CW has just ordered a 19th season of ANTM, which is slated to be a co-ed/college edition, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 18th season, themed the “British Invasion,” premieres tomorrow, Feb. 29 at 9/8c on the CW and features British models pitted against American contestants. Cindy Crawford in Sexy Shield Sunglasses

Former supermodel Cindy Crawford doesn’t want her daughter following in her footsteps…at least not just yet. She recently told The Daily that her daughter Kaia Gerber will need to wait until she’s 17 to be a model. “At this point, she’s too young to pursue a career. There aren’t even a handful of jobs for a 10-year-old girl,” she said. This is quite an about-face from her initially enthusiastic attitude about her daughter’s foray into modeling. Kaia–who looks strikingly like her mom–was an overnight sensation when she modeled for Versace’s new line of children’s clothing back in January 2011. On the shoot, Cindy had said she didn’t want to be a “stage mom” and that she was excited for Kaia to have that experience. Donatella Versace even gushed about Kaia saying, “Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift. The camera really, really loves her.”

Reportedly, Kaia is ok with her mom’s change of heart. According to Cindy, her daughter quipped, “I might model first… but then I want to be a baby nurse.” With those genes, Cindy’s daughter is sure to have a full schedule when the time comes. Liam Hemsworth in Carrera Sunglasses

You probably know hunky Liam Hemsworth best as Miley Cyrus’ main squeeze, but he is soon to become a star in his own right  thanks to The Hunger Games film, based on the cult-followed series of books, when it hits theaters March 23. The Aussie actor, who’s been Miley’s on-again, off-again boyfriend since they met while filming 2010′s The Last Song, plays Gale in the highly-anticipated flick, the best friend of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), the main character who volunteers to take her little sister’s place in an annual fight-to-the-death between children.

While the 22-year-old’s future looks bright now, he reveals in the new issue of Details magazine that that wasn’t always the case. He remembers–just before he was cast in The Last Song–that it looked like his older brother Chris (Thor) had outshone him in Hollywood. “I was sitting at our manager’s house with Chris. He booked Red Dawn and Thor in the same week,” Liam tells the men’s mag. “We were celebrating for him. But then it was like, ‘Yeah, I’m probably going to have to go home in a week.’ But I didn’t want to! I love this town.” Just in the nick of time, Liam got the gig — and a relationship with Miley as a bonus. Even princesses can end up solo on Valentines Day. With hubby Prince William deployed to the Falklands, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, was without her man on the most romantic day of the year. But she certainly didn’t sit around moping about it. Instead, Kate spent V-Day doing good works. With the poise of a future queen, she toured a number of charitable organizations in Liverpool, England, including Action on Addiction, of which she is a patron. According to the Associated Press, Kate received a bouquet of red roses and a card from eight-year-old Jaqson Johnston-Lynch whose mother runs the organization. Reportedly, he wrote “Happy Valentine’s Day, your Royal Highness. I’m sorry Prince William can’t be here.” Kate did, however, assure his mother Jacquie that she had received a card and flowers from her husband earlier in the morning.

Despite the fact that Prince William is 8,000 miles away, Kate was feeling the love from the crowds that gathered along Liverpool’s main thoroughfares. Looking elegant and understated in a slim, Valentine’s appropriate chocolate brown wool overcoat, black tights and black suede pumps, she graciously accepted more bouquets and cards from her adoring fans. Britain’s Mirror reported that her Hobbs overcoat sold out online in under an hour after she was pictured wearing it! Now that’s some serious style power. Adele in Ray Ban Eyeglasses

You would think that having inarguably one of the greatest voices of a generation would be enough. But not according to design maven Karl Lagerfield, when he outright called Adele “fat” in a recent Paris newspaper interview. To add insult to injury, he then praised her  “beautiful face” and “divine voice.”  For many women, this would have been the ultimate insult. However, Grammy-nominated sensation Adele is not one of them–in fact, she says she’s just fine with her shape and size. In response to Lagerfield’s wave-making comment, Adele had this to say: “I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women, and I’m very proud of that.” She went on: “I lost over 30 kilos over 10 years ago and have kept it off…I know how it feels when the press is mean to you in regards to your appearance.”

KL’s critique of Adele resulted in immediate backlash from the singer’s fans, as well as many women who just plain thought the comment unnecessary. Calls to “boycott Chanel”–the fashion house Lagerfield heads up–popped up on Twitter, and even sparked a dedicated Facebook page over the past two days. Though he tried to back-peddle with an apology saying he’s Adele’s “biggest admirer” and that his quote was taken out of context, it was literally “too little” too late. Regardless, Adele has much more important matters at hand. On Sunday, she’ll be appearing at the 2012 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, where she’s up for six awards–including Album of the Year–and will be performing for the first time since undergoing throat surgery in November. Less than three months after announcing that she was diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoing a double mastectomy, Giuliana Rancic was back on the red carpet–glowing and all smiles–for awards season starting with the 2012 Golden Globes. Where is all this positive energy coming from, you may ask? “A lot of people have said to me, ‘You look better now than before your diagnosis,’” the reality star revealed in an interview with omg!. “And I thought maybe it’s because I’m so much happier. I think that I dodged a major bullet.” In fact, after Giuliana, 37, endured the double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery to treat her breast cancer, she was back at E!, where she anchors E! News, just two weeks later! As if going back to work so soon weren’t enough, she’s also starting a charity, likened to a Make-A-Wish Foundation for adults called Fab-U-Wish, for other women in a similar situation. She explained about her breast cancer charity: “[I want to] do things to put smiles on these women’s faces while they’re going through tough therapy and a horrible diagnoses.”

“I just feel like things are kind of better than ever, which is so strange. An experience like this can either break you or it can make you stronger,” Giuliana noted. She says she chose to have a good attitude about it, to look at the positive, and that the experience has certainly made her stronger. But Ash recently told the March issue of Lucky  mag that she kissed a girl — and liked it! The Twilight beauty lip locked with Olivia Wilde in the upcoming comedy flick Butter and says it “ended up being really fun.” She continued: “It wasn’t that awkward. So we were just messing around and cracking up in between scenes… And now I’m the envy of every straight male everywhere!”

Currently the brunette bombshell is dating Broadway’s Spider-Man, Reeve Carney, but adds that she’s careful not to let romance distract her from her work. “I’m so laser-focused on my career, because when you’re dealt these cards, if you don’t kind of run with it, then you’re an idiot,” Ashley says. She also says that what attracts her most is someone who has the same amount of drive as she does, someone who’s equally busy. And busy she is. With the Twilight Saga coming to an end (Breaking Dawn Part 2, hits theaters in November), the 24-year-old has been hard at work establishing her place in Hollywood with more diversified roles, like LOL,vopposite Demi Moore and Miley Cyrus, and The Apparition with Harry Potter star Tom Felton. Jennifer Lopez hasn’t been flaunting her arm candy much, until last week. She ran around NYC with her younger, hunky boyfriend Casper Smart by her side for an evening of press and a romantic dinner. First stop–a taping of the Late Show, where J Lo chatted with David Letterman about her new reality show ¡Q’Viva! The Chosen–which she  cohosts with none other than her soon-to-be-ex-husband Marc Anthony. Can you say awkward? But according to this Diva, it’s not like that. Jen revealed that she and Marc are remaining friends and getting along better now, which is great news for the couple’s two small children. On the topic of shooting with Marc, “It’s fun, but it has its moments. The same things that . . . didn’t work sometimes come up.” Casper and Jennifer wrapped up the evening with a dinner at Cipriani, and after the meal, they headed back to their hotel together.

While Jen may have a hectic schedule, she assures her fans that her children come before anything else. She recently told Fox: “When they’re ok then I can put my mind on other things and really concentrate on work.” Jennifer’s next gig includes her stint as one of the many presenters scheduled to appear at the Oscars on Feb. 26. Sofia Vergara’s va-va-voom’ness has just earned her the top spot on AskMen’s Most Desirable Woman of 2012 list. The men’s online magazine’s annual list of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women was announced last week and the 39-year-old Modern Family star joins an impressive group of  “top spot” A-list alums including Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie. When it comes to “desirability,” Sofia proves that age has nothin’ to do with it. She moved to #1 from #3 on last year’s list after her breakout year thanks to ABC’s wildly-popular series Modern Family.

The fiery Colombian bombshell beat out a number of younger leading ladies and newcomers to lead the Top 10, such as Victoria’s Secret models Miranda Kerr (#4) and Candice Swanepoel (#10), rapper Nicki Minaj (#5), and actresses Emma Stone (#6) and Scarlett Johansson (#7). Even more interesting, perennial favorites like Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie did not even make the 2012 list at all! A big change, especially for Angie, who has made the list 10 years in a row from 2001 to 2011.  Seems guys are growing tired of the former mainstays of desirability and are opting for new faces like Sofia, Kim Kardashian (#8), Rihanna (#9), and Zooey Deschanel (#12) who have risen up to take their place.
