You have to know by now that Momager Kris Jenner couldn’t possibly let a big milestone event–like daughter Kendall’s 16th birthday–go without money-making fanfare. Kendall’s getting the ultimate Sweet 16 birthday present: her own E! TV special. The new issue of Us Weekly (out now) reports that Bruce and Kris Jenner’s oldest daughter will be the subject of a new E! network special detailing the weeks leading up to her 16th birthday party. She hits the milestone November 3, and sources tell Us to look for a special episode in which the birthday girl shops for a car AND a belly button ring or tattoo! “People expect me to be a little 10-year-old,” gripes the high school student and part-time model, who will no doubt have to seek permission from her parents for the piercing or ink. And though it won’t be as large in scale as sis Kim Kardashian’s August nuptials, Kendall’s bash is set to make for must-see TV– including reported performances by Nicki Minaj or Kanye West.

The Sweet 16 announcement comes on the heels of Kendall’s sneak peek photos last week from her latest modeling gig for Aussie swimwear brand White Sands. Lil’ sis Kardashian made waves in the official photos from the campaign inspired by the women of film noir in floral bikinis, deep cut maillots and caftans.  “The collection has both an ethereal and strong side and we wanted a model that could capture both,” designer Leah Madden tells Pople Mag. “As we were casting for the campaign we came across Kendall’s portfolio and loved her softness and strength. She actually made it to the top of our list before we knew her background!” The spring/summer 2012 swimwear collection hits stores in March, but in the meantime, Kendall turns up some style volume in these geek-chic Tom Ford wayfarer eyeglasses.  –rpuccia

Mark Wahlberg in Giorgio Armani Sunglasses

Hunky Mark Wahlberg is putting his money where his mouth is. Now you can get a “juicy” Wahlberg fix–at Wahlburgers! On Monday night in Hingham, Massachusetts, just outside his native Boston, the Academy-nominated actor and producer opened his new burger joint with older brothers Paul and Donnie. With Paul wearing the chef hat, the grand opening was a true family affair as the brothers’ invited mom Alma Elaine to join them on the red carpet. The restaurant’s menu offers hamburgers with Paul’s secret sauce, white bean and prosciutto soup, and Italian cold cut sandwiches among other items. But it wasn’t all peaches and cream getting this burger joint up and running. The Wahlberg brothers faced a small battle in landing their desired name for the restaurant; “Wahlbergers” was previously the name of a fast food chain in upstate New York, where the burgers sold for $4.49. Now that The Fighter star and his brothers are flipping the burgers, they’re a few dollars more–to the tune of $6.25 for a 5 oz. burger. The Wahlburgers’ menu promises that dining in their restaurant will feel like a meal at the Wahlberg home.

The boys concurred that opening night was really about big bro Paul. Chef Paul admitted that opening a burger restaurant has been his dream. “I am so passionate about this,” he said. Mark said that Wahlburgers is the perfect project for Paul. “He’s a five-star chef, but all he’ll eat are burgers! I’m serious. He goes out and eats a burger everywhere he goes. From one place to the next. He always makes them for himself. Audrina Patridge in Gucci Sunglasses

Audrina Patridge can sleep a bit easier at night. Looks like Rachel Lee, the ringleader of the so-called “Bling Ring,” a group comprised of SoCal teens that burglarized the homes of Hollywood celebs—including Audrina’s—and stole roughly $3 million in cash and belongings, was sentenced to four years in state prison. According to E! Online, Lee entered a plea of no contest last month for the February 2009 break-in of Audrina’s place, when she snatched more than $25,000 in jewelry and a designer suitcase jam-packed with Audrina’s clothes, boots, and accessories. The Bling Ring has also been accused of similar heists at Paris Hilton’s, Lindsay Lohan’s, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green’s pads, among others.

On a brighter note, Audrina recently updated her ‘do from blonde to brunette. She’s actually a natural blonde (kinda rare in Hollywood!) who confessed to US Weekly that she made the change because, “I miss being a brunette. Ricki Lake in Ray Ban Sunglasses

Anyone who’s been tuning in to this season of Dancing With the Stars can see that the pounds are literally melting off Ricki Lake’s body on the dance floor. The actress/former talk show host revealed that she has shed an impressive 20 pounds and 8.5 inches thanks to her fancy footwork on the ballroom floor–three inches off her waist and hips and over an inch off her thighs and arms. “It’s crazy,” she says of the weight loss.  Ricki–who at one point tipped the scales at 270 pounds–is currently engaged to her boyfriend of 13 months, and is even waiting to try out bridal dresses until her transformation is complete. “I’m definitely a size six now,” she recently shared. “I’ll probably be a size four by the end of it. It’s come to the point where it doesn’t matter. I no longer wear Spanx.”

So thanks to six weeks of competitive dancing (plus a few weeks of pre-premiere rehearsals), Ricki is rocking a trimmer body than we’ve ever seen before. Five hours of rehearsal with pro partner Derek Hough each day, plus eating balanced meals at home have contributed to her healthier physique. Ricki says her diet leading to her weight loss is “really that simple” and includes oatmeal or an egg white veggie omelette for breakfast, gazpacho and chicken breast for lunch and turkey meatloaf, salad and a “bit of mashed potatoes” for dinner along with an occasional glass of wine or low-fat cookies for dessert. She gushed to People Mag, “I have two sizes of Lucky Brand jeans: 8 and 6. Usually I wear the 8 because they are more comfortable but now even the 6 is too big. Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber may well be deemed the cutest couple on the planet. The teen duo are constantly spotted out and about engaging in virtually endless acts of PDA (ah teen love). Just this weekend they were snapped smooching it up in a VIP box for the Winnipeg Jets vs. Carolina Hurricanes hockey game game in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada Saturday night, with both of them wearing team jerseys. Selena has concert dates through Canada all this week, and will be appearing at the Bell Centre, where the hockey game took place, on October 30.

And, as if that weren’t enough, according to People Mag, the superstar teen couple just adopted a puppy together over the weekend– a husky mix named Baylor! The pair recently stopped by D’Arcy’s Animal Rescue Centre in Winnipeg, Canada where they fell in love with their new furry little friend.”They spent a lot of time with the puppies,” D’Arcy Johnston, the rescue’s chief executive officer, told the mag. “I was told that [Selena] was missing the dogs that she has at home.” She reportedly owns five rescue dogs. “I wasn’t expecting her to adopt a dog while she was on tour and has a busy schedule,” Johnston said. “Baylor probably would have had a bad life or a very short life, but he got rescued and brought to our shelter and is now going to live a very good life.” Baylor’s in for a good life indeed with this power couple. Rihanna sure knows how to shake things up. Just a week after the pop diva told Esquire mag that she fully supports her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who is on probation for assaulting her in 2009, she has just released a new music video that depicts a Brown look-alike as a villain in a tumultuous relationship. Despite the song’s feel-good, sunny vibe, the video, directed by Melina Matsoukas (“Hard,” “S&M,” “Rude Boy” and “Rockstar 101″), is a dark look at love and substance abuse. In the video for “We Found Love,” Rihanna and her bleach-blonde beau, British boxer and model Dudley O-Shaughnessy, start things off upbeat. They skate, they kiss, he watches as Rihanna frolics topless in a field, they party, they give each other tattoos, and joke around like kids. But according to the storyline, things go awry when drugs takeover. Tension mounts. Their drug binges lead to hangovers. And there’s even a screaming match in a parked car that seems to mirror the police report account of Rihanna’s early morning February 2009 brawl with Brown.

In the end, all of it becomes too much for the couple and the frustrations and pressures of their love affair begin to become more about the rush than the actual love. Rihanna walks out, leaving Dudley passed out on the ground barely able to do anything to win her back. Can you say, scandalous? Darren Criss in Ray Ban Sunglasses

Undeniably hunky Darren Criss tackled the lead role of Harry Potter in the musical productions A Very Potter Musical and A Very Potter Sequel, but he currently portrays openly-gay high school student Blaine Anderson on the Fox hit Glee. This hottie “Warbler” might seem like an overnight sensation, but Darren began taking violin lessons as a child and eventually mastered the guitar, cello, piano, mandolin, and drums as well. Oh, and let’s not forget voice—this boy can sing! He was in the school orchestra and performing arts program during his years at Saint Ignatius College Preparatory school, where he won the Theater Arts Leadership Award and Fine Arts Plaque Award in 2005. He followed up with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Theater Performance from the University of Michigan in 2009. Darren’s smooth singing can be heard on the Glee soundtrack—the first song he performed on the show, Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream, hit number one on Billboard’s digital sales chart after selling over 200,000 singles in its first week—but he’s also signed with Sony Music Entertainment, so all you Gleeks out there will be glad to know that he’ll be recording a full-length album.

Lindsay Lohan in Gucci Sunglasses

Lindsay Lohan sported a flashy new accessory this week after a judge revoked her probation: silver handcuffs. The troubled actress was taken into custody Wednesday and escorted from a hearing after Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner revoked her probation because she was ousted from a community service assignment at a women’s shelter. “There has been violation after violation,” Sautner said. Bail was set at $100,000, which was reportedly immediately posted. A city prosecutor recommended jail time, but the judge set a Nov. 2 hearing to decide whether Lohan should serve another stint behind bars, where she has been sent a shocking four previous times only to be released early due to jail overcrowding.

This drama marked the latest legal problem for the 25-year-old Lindasy, who was given probation for a 2007 drunken driving case and a misdemeanor theft case this year. Though Lindsay’s lawyer is hopeful the court will reinstate probation and allow her to continue fulfilling her community service –she had been ordered in April to serve 360 hours at the Downtown Women’s Center–her record of doing so has not been convincing. According to the judge, Lindsay “blew off” nine of her appointments at the center and “showed up once and left after an hour.” She’s also been remiss in completing a court-ordered Shoplifters Anonymous course within six months as well as weekly psychological sessions. Angelina Jolie in Dolce and Gabbana Sunglasses

Well-known for her humanitarian efforts, the female half of the world’s favorite superstar couple visited Libya last week. “I have come to Libya for a variety of reasons, to see a country in transition at every level and to witness efforts to fully realize the promise of the Arab Spring,”Angelina Jolie told global news agency Reuters. The two-day trip to Libya was a personal visit, but when she’s not acting in blockbuster hits, playing mom to her brood of six (Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne) or snuggling up with Brad Pitt, she serves as an ambassador for the United Nations refugee agency UNHCR.

On the home front, Angie and Brad have put one of their mansions on the market. (Yes, one of their mansions! Can you even imagine?!) The gorgeous Malibu pad, which is set into a hillside overlooking the Pacific, is listed at a cool $13.75 million. The 4100 square foot property has private beach access and consists of two separate houses, a pool, tennis court, and gardens. Considering that they were just named the third highest-earning couple in Hollywood by Forbes just behind Gisele Bunchen and Tom Brady and Beyonce and Jay-Z, money worries certainly aren’t the reason the super-couple has listed the home for sale.
