Beyonce Knowles in Marc Jacobs Sunglasses

Beyonce has axed Daddy as her manager. According to her publicist, the Grammy-winning singer will no longer be managed by her father, Mathew Knowles, announced through a statement to The Associated Press. Beyonce stated that though they have parted ways on a business level, “I am grateful for everything he has taught me…he is my father for life and I love my dad dearly.”  She didn’t elaborate on what led to the split, but her father said in a separate AP statement that the decision was mutual. “Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success,” he said.

Mathew has managed all aspects of Beyonce’s career since she debuted as a teen in the multiplatinum-selling group Destiny’s Child in the late 1990s and throughout her superstar career as a solo artist. Her career includes 16 Grammy awards, top-grossing movies Dreamgirls and Obsessed, fashion ventures and lucrative endorsements. She’s released three multiplatinum albums – “Dangerously In Love,” “B’Day” and “I Am … Sasha Fierce” – and has 12 Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. There was no comment on who Beyonce’s new manager will be, but can’t help but wonder if hubby Jay-Z will be taking over the reigns. Besides, together they were named the 2010 top-earning power duo in Hollywood by Forbes Mag after pulling in $122 million. Beyonce is all diva in these blingy zippered booties and  Marc Jacobs aviators–at night, no less. Frankly, though, when you’re Beyonce you can get away with anything.  –rpuccia

Amy Adams in Prada Sunglasses

Born while her father was stationed at an Army base in Italy, actress Amy Adams got her start on the stage, performing in dinner theaters. She made her screen debut in the 1999 dark comedy Drop Dead Gorgeous alongside Kirstie Alley, Ellen Barkin, Denise Richards, Brittany Murphy and Kirsten Dunst and landed the role of Brenda Strong, the love interest of con man Frank Abagnale, Jr. (played by none other than Leondardo diCaprio) in 2002’s Catch Me if You Can. More recently, Amy’s lent her voice to Disney’s Enchanted—she received a Golden Globe nom for her performance as Princess Giselle—and tackled roles in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Julie & Julia, Leap Year, and The Fighter.

It was just announced that Amy will play Lois Lane in director Zack Snyder’s upcoming flick Superman: Man of Steel. MTV reports that most fans love the casting, except for one tiny “flaw.” Amy’s 36 while Henry Cavill, the actor that will be playing her on-screen superhero, is 28. The 9 year age gap has some fans feeling puzzled, but comics writer Mark Millar tweeted “Lois won a Pulitzer and kinda given up on guys by the time she meets Superman. She can’t be a 25-year-old. Britney Spears in Tom Ford Sunglasses

All those Britney Nation fans out there longing for Brit’s live-performance “salad days” are apparently still in for a wait. As she kicks off a series of promotional performances for her latest album Femme Fatale–the pop star’s first stage appearances since her massive Circus tour wrapped in 2009–everyone really, really wanted to believe Britney can still turn it out. Why? Because at the top of her game, she really was the real deal — a game-changer, a superstar, a “slave for you.” But, my have times changed. In her two gigs this past weekend–Friday night at Las Vegas’ Rain nightclub in the Palms resort and Sunday afternoon at a taping for Good Morning America– Brit performed three tracks from Femme Fatale: her first two singles “Hold It Against Me” and “Till the World Ends,” and “Big Fat Bass,” produced by Will.i.am. The Vegas set was even recorded by MTV for a special that will be broadcast this week to help promote the album.

But as in her video for the first single “Hold It Against Me”, her recent stage performances were riddled with limp and lifeless dancing, and were void of her once ferocious glares and determined gazes into the camera, aka “feeling.” There’s no question she hasn’t been on her game since the album In the Zone came out in 2003. The last time anyone saw her dance with any conviction was in like 2004 and the last time she turned on her mic for a live performance was probably the great wardrobe malfunction of March 2009. Whatever her reasons for the lackluster moves and stoic emotion on stage, she does pull it together here in a cute straw fedora and gorgeous Tom Ford shades, available in four frame hues.  –rpuccia

Kourtney Kardashian in Round Oversized Sunglasses

We’ve all got our doubts as to the “reality” of Kourtney Kardashian’s reality shows Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney and Kim Take New York and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, but the eldest Kardashian sister made her official acting debut earlier this week. The 31-year-old socialite / entrepreneur played the part of personal injury attorney Kassandra Kavanaugh (KK, get it?) on the long-running ABC soap opera One Life to Live. Kassandra got arrested with Cristian Vega (played by David Fumero) after they both punched the same guy at the gym, and she had entertaining lines such as “Oh snap. This is getting interesting!” Needless to say, critics didn’t exactly give Kourt’s performance a standing ovation, but you’ve gotta give the gal some credit for trying—it’s not easy to look that hot or wear that much makeup during a workout!

Kourtney’s also appeared on 90210 alongside sisters Kim and Khloe, but they played themselves—not sassy attorneys. Even though she’s hiding beneath these round oversized sunglasses (is she trying to dodge the paparazzi? Good luck with that!) Kourtney’s perfect skin and windblown hair make her look like the glamour girl all we know and love.

Justin Timberlake in Dolce & Gabbana Sunglasses

Turns out, they apparently weren’t in synch. Reps for Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel released joint statements that said the pair “mutually decided to part ways.” But recent reports reveal the harsh truth: Timberlake, 30, “had been aggressively trying to end things” with the actress, 29, since the Golden Globes Jan. 16, one source close to the singer told Us Weekly. What’s more, the pal added that JT “had not been happy with Jessica for close to two years.” (The couple got together in January 2007, shortly after Justin’s split from Cameron Diaz.) “You’d be surprised at how soon the love was lost on this one,” the friend continues. “Justin said he was miserable.”  Ouch, that IS harsh! Justin reportedly finally fessed up to his feelings about the relationship shortly after his Jan. 31 birthday saying he didn’t want to marry her and it didn’t feel right. What’s worse,  the source said Jessica was blindsided. “It just stung her in the heart.” Sources also revealed an even uglier truth–that even in their final discussions, he didn’t come clean about his rampant affairs with other women (including actress Olivia Munn, among others.) “He didn’t admit the cheating, even though we all knew it,” the insider says. To add insult to injury, Timberlake partied the day of the split announcement. Now that’s just wrong.

But, Jessica doesn’t seem to be sitting around boo-hoo’ing either. Just five days after announcing the split, she was spotted cozying up to her Playing the Field costar Gerard Butler. Currently filming the flick in Shreveport, Louisiana, Jessica and the 300 hunk were first spotted out for a crew member’s birthday, then two nights later, throwing back margaritas at a Mexican restaurant. Reese Witherspoon in Ray Ban Sunglasses

Wedding bells could be heard in Ojai, California this past Saturday night, and congratulations are in order—Reese Witherspoon is now “Mrs. Toth!” It was 35-year-old Reese’s second wedding (the beautiful blonde divorced her Cruel Intentions co-star Ryan Philippe in 2007 after 7 years of marriage) and a first wedding for 40-year-old Jim, an agent with Creative Artists Agency, one of Hollywood’s top talent agencies. Ironically, Reese is listed as a Creative Artists client, but Jim has never represented her.

According to OMG! Reese donned a custom-designed Monique Lhuillier gown and walked down the aisle to the traditional “Here Comes the Bride.” Reese’s two children from her relationship with Ryan, 11-year-old daughter Ava and 7-year-old son Deacon, took part in the ceremony and the couple exchanged wedding bands designed by jeweler William Goldberg. They said “I do!” in front of in front of 120 friends and family members, including Renee Zellweger, Alyssa Milano, and Tobey Maguire. Located just 90 miles north of L.A., Reese’s Ojai ranch is home to her garden, horses, donkeys, pigs, goats and chickens.

Reese may have debuted her 4-carat, $250,000 diamond bling—uh, ring—at an L.A. Lakers game in December 2010, but she’s not afraid to wear a pair of no-nonsense Ray Ban sunglasses, a classic fave of A-listers and regular folks. Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Toth!

It’s a boy for Rachel Zoe! The famed celebrity stylist welcomed son Skyler Morrison Berman on Wednesday at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. It’s the first child for Rachel and husband Rodger Berman. Mom and Dad reportedly could not be happier or more in love with their son. The baby weighed in at 6 lbs., 12 oz. and is 20 inches long. Seems like just yesterday when she opened up about her struggle between balancing her personal and professional life on her Bravo reality series The Rachel Zoe Show and in the Season 3 finale, she and her husband of 12 years visited a fertility clinic. Rachel confirmed her exciting baby news on Twitter last November. And in January, the fashionable reality star let the news of her baby’s gender slip during an interview with Women’s Wear Daily.

Speaking of balancing baby and business, she’ll certainly be doing just that with a full, high-profile celeb client list including Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, Kate Beckinsale, Debra Messing, Demi Moore, Eva Mendes, Paula Patton and Anne Hathaway. Russell Brand in D&G Sunglasses

It’s probably not hard to believe that funnyman Russell Brand is a recovering alcoholic and drug addict, but he tells this month’s Elle Mag he’s  a new man. But for some fans, it is hard to believe that Russell could draw from those experiences and try and fill the shoes of the iconic Dudley Moore in the remake of the 1981 classic comedy Arthur. Sure, Russell’s British, but he’s a foot taller and a decade younger in the film than the late Dudley, the diminutive star who became synonymous with the movie’s affable alcoholic billionaire looking for love. Arthur aficionados may be skeptical that Mr. Katy Perry can pull off the role–the film hits theaters April 8–but Russell tells Elle he was nothing but confident from the start. “He’s a cultural icon … I wasn’t frightened to take on the role,” the actor says of the character. “A billionaire playboy in this day and age having to make a choice between marrying for love or money seemed a very attractive proposition.”

And what was it like for this real-life recovering addict to play a character who spends much of his time drunk? Again, not only was he convinced he could do it, he thought his checkered past even gave him an advantage. “It was very strange … I kept a little plastic bottle of booze around the set that I’d smell before each take. That really helped me because I’ve got huge emotional resources to call upon.” When asked if he’s ever tempted by the stuff, he says “no.” In times of stress and difficulty, it’s surprising how one’s first impulse can be to drink or take drugs,” he explains. “But I don’t want to be that person again. The entire world is mourning Elizabeth Taylor, and Paris Hilton was among her millions of fans. “So sad to hear about Elizabeth Taylor. She was so beautiful, such an inspiration and an icon. She was an amazing humanitarian and brought smiles to everyone around the world. She was always so sweet to me and I will really miss her. I’ve always loved this picture of her and Nicky Hilton. They were such a stunning couple,” Paris tweeted and wrote on her blog alongside a photo of Liz and Nicky. Many people failed to realize that the hotel heiress had a family connection to the late screen star and hardworking philanthropist, but her grand-uncle Nicholas Conrad “Nicky” Hilton Jr. was one of Liz’s many husbands.

Paris, who recently celebrated her 30th birthday, has instructed her attorneys to take legal action against an author who claims that she made racial comments during an interview. Excerpts from Neil Strauss’ book Everyone Loves You When You’re Dead: Journeys Into Fame and Madness have begun appearing online, and the author claims that everyone’s favorite blonde heiress supposedly made controversial comments about her love life during a 1999 interview. Paris’ people are adamant she never made the remarks, and her rep has issued a statement saying “These allegations are absolutely untrue … it’s another example of someone making false claims for financial gain.” Despite the legal hoopla (then again, when your name is Paris Hilton you’re probably used that stuff happening) Paris is looking sleek and sexy as always in a pair of Chloe sunglasses, carrying a furry friend down the street. Elin Nordegren in Prada Sunglasses

Oh, what to do with a reported $100M divorce settlement. Buy a $12 million estate just 10 miles from your ex, that’s what. Elin Nordegren has just purchased a $12 million mansion in North Palm Beach, Florida, just ’round the way from ex-hubby Tiger Woods’ $50 million bachelor pad on Jupiter Island. Since her August 2009 divorce from Tiger, the gorgeous Elin has divided time between Orlando and her native Sweden. Now the former model is setting down some roots and spending some of her settlement loot on a sprawling, beach front estate. The two-story home boasts over 17,000 square-feet, eight bathrooms and a 4,700 square-foot basement. The close proximity to Tiger seems “whack” on the surface, but she really wanted to ensure her daughter Sam, 3, and son Charlie, 2, are close to their dad. The family’s nanny has apparently been scouting out private daycare centers and schools and they are expected to move into the new home in a few weeks.

Meanwhile, our favorite scandal-plagued golf great recently talked life as a single dad on ABC’s Good Morning America. “I just love being with them,” he told host Robin Roberts of his kids on Thursday. It’s just fun.” Tiger’s also been frolicking with a new gal pal –22-year-old Alyse Lahti Johnson– who he’s actually known for quite a while. In fact, a friend of the grad student told the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now), that Alyse’s stepfather lives next door to Woods in Windermere, Florida, and serves as an executive at his sports management company.
