Leighton Meester in Marc Jacobs Sunglasses

You’d never know it given her role as the gorgeous and priviledged Blair Waldorf, the top rung of Constance Billard School’s social scene on the CW hit Gossip Girl. But Leighton actually comes from humble, albeit scandalous, beginnings. She was literally born in prison while her mom served time for her involvement in a drug ring that smuggled marijuana to the U.S. from Jamaica. Pretty zany, huh? But we just love how she didn’t let this hold her back from becoming  a queen of the small screen, landing roles on popular shows like NBC’s Law & Order, CSI: Miami, 24, House, and Entourage before hitting the jackpot with Gossip Girl. She’s all glam in these Marc Jacobs shades, which come in two delish frames colors. Christina Aguilera in Carrera Sunglasses

In the late 1990s pop superstar Christina Aguilera was in hot competition with Britney Spears, but it seems like Christina has come out on top in that race. She’s remained popular since those days, which isn’t easy to do in the music biz, and has been involved in several philanthropic endeavors including the fight against AIDS, the importance of voting, and an attempt to end world hunger.

Despite her do-good efforts, Christina’s often criticized for her raunchy on-stage costumes. Rumor has it that her own grandmother was once disappointed to see Christina wearing so little in one of her music videos. The 2010 video for the single Not Myself Tonight features Christina transforming into several different characters, one of whom is wearing a pair of sunglasses from the Carrera vintage collection.

Cutie Willow Smith–daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith–is already making a name for herself at just nine years old. Her recent debut single, Whip My Hair, had the web all a-buzz with more than 100,000 views on YouTube after just a day of being released. The hip-hop / Rihanna’esque single, which is meant to inspire young girls to be confident and self-assured,  has turned her into a smash hit. So much so that Jay-Z signed her to a record deal on his label, Roc Nation, saying he thought Willow had a superstar career in front of her. If Jay-Z called it, you better believe it. Her wacky and fun sense of style–especially in these bright-white Ray Bans and Converse high top pants, is always a looker on the red carpet. Kim Kardashian in Jimmy Choo Sunglasses

Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner recently returned from a whirlwind European “vacation” that was actually a promotional tour to endorse Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Although she’s just a “reality star,” Kim’s considered a big celebrity in the US and her sex appeal has made her an international favorite.

Kim did quite a bit of shopping with her mom (can you blame them, with the size of their bank accounts?) and they made sure to pose for photos everywhere they visited–  from Ben and Jerry’s to the Louvre. Kim and Kris reportedly spent more than $100,000 in one day, including a $30,000 crocodile skin bag. Ouch! That croc sure took a bite out of Kim’s bank account.

Carey Mulligan in Christian Dior Sunglasses

Carey Mulligan is probably one of the most talented and under-the-radar film stars in Hollywood–but you’d never know it on paper. This English actress made her acting debut as Kitty Bennet in the film Pride & Prejudice, but she gained widespread recognition for playing Jenny in the 2009 film An Education–a role for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe AND an Oscar for Best Actress.  Following this breakthrough role, she  appeared in the dramatic films Brothers and The Greatest. Her latest film Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, just hit theaters this weekend and also costars her main squeeze, Shia LaBeouf. They were introduced by Director, Oliver Stone (now that’s a powerful intro). She’s pretty and polished in these chic cat eye Christian Dior shades–available in four frame hues. Miley Cyrus is only seventeen, but she’s been in the spotlight since Hannah Montana’s Disney Channel premiere in 2006. Daddy Billy Ray must be extra proud of his lil girl—not only did he make an acting comeback on her hit show, Miley was the first artist to have deals in television, film, consumer products, and music within the Walt Disney Company.

Hannah Montana is in its final season and Miley’s trying to spice things up. Her latest album, Can’t Be Tamed, portrays a much sexier Miley than the “America’s sweetheart” image Disney likes her to promote. The unstoppably glam teen queen, Selena Gomez,  gets her “Disney” on as Alex Russo on the Emmy Award- winning Disney Channel series, Wizards of Waverly Place. Before Disney, she was cast as one of the kids on Barney & Friends (don’t worry Selena, we’ll keep that one on the down-low). Though she starred in the TV movies Another Cinderella Story and Princess Protection Program, she recently made her box office film debut as Beatrice “Beezus” Quimby in Ramona and Beezus. She gained real mass appeal through her music with the release of her debut album Kiss & Tell last year. The album went Gold, while her single, Naturally, went Platinum. To complete the trifecta, Gomez just launched an eco-friendly fashion line this fall for Kmart, called “Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez,” which is a reflection of  her own drool-worthy, pretty-feminine-bohemian personal style. William McKinley High School had better get ready, because Gwyneth Paltrow is set to guest star as a substitute teacher for two episodes of the smash hit Glee! The daughter of actress Blythe Danner and director/producer Bruce Paltrow, this won’t be Gwyneth’s first time showing off her pipes for the sake of the job—remember catching her in the 2000 film Duets? She also took guitar and singing lessons to portray a has-been country star attempting a comeback in the upcoming movie Country Strong.

Singing, substitute teaching … no biggie! It’s just all in a day’s work for this Academy Award winner. No wonder she manages to look so good in a T-shirt and pair of Marc Jacobs sunglasses!

OK, so did Spencer Pratt lose his marbles, or what? The beard, the walking stick, the unintelligible banter, being detained in a Costa Rican airport for arms possession, the divorce rumors? Things seem to be looking up for this former “Hills” reality star, as he and his plastic-surgery-addicted wife, Heidi Montag, are once again gracing the tabloids with headlines that they’re making amends. And, just today, he announced on You Tube that he shaved that freaky beard off (hallelujah) to show Heidi his dedication to making things work. Now, c’mon,  that’s commitment, right?!
