Our way of celebrating the new Kate Spade shoppable windows

Kate Spade announced a new shopping technique that might be the next best thing. It’s called “shoppable windows” and it’s a collaboration with eBay. Four such windows of approximately 9 x 2 feet are launching this month in the busiest parts of New York, where shoppers can touch the screens to order out of the 30 products available. The items are delivered within the hour via courier, and payment is made through a special system based on PayPal. Sounds like a science fiction movie, doesn’t it? Well, it’s all true, and we’re really excited about it. We’re not sure if Kate Spade sunglasses will be available through the shoppable windows at this time, but we’re celebrating the launch of the new technology by looking back at some of our favorite celebs wearing their stylish frames:

This was a great weekend for True Blood fans, with the sixth season debuting on Sunday night on HBO. The first episode started exactly where the last season left off, with the three main characters, Sookie (Anna Paquin), Eric (Alexander Starsgard) and Bill (Stephen Moyer) altogether in a tensioned scene. We won’t give out anymore spoilers, because seeing the episode is definitely way better than reading about it…

While fans worldwide were gathered in front of their TVs for the new episode, the cast of the show were partying on set. The actors took pictures for HBO’s Twitter, in fun poses: scaring each other, prom photo style, or simply making faces at the camera. During the party, fans were able to ask questions through the social network, and the True Blood cast were there to reply. For example, Anna Paquin revealed that she doesn’t do her stunts anymore, because she’s “old now, and not very fit”. Nelsan Ellis, on the other hand, said that if his character had to die, he’d like it to happen during sex. And if you were wondering what the Tru Blood drink tastes like, know that it’s an “orangy syrupy soda”, according to the actors who’ve tasted it.

While we wait for the next episode to air, here’s a sneak at the real life of married couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. The two have a stroll with their 9 months old twins, and they seem to have a lot of fun in the process. The actress is wearing Tom Ford sunglasses with a black t-shirt, shorts and ankle boots, while Moyer is wearing aviators, a grey t-shirt and jeans. We like that they keep it simple!

The actress celebrates 48th birthday today and announces directorial debut.

Courteney Cox celebrates her 48th birthday today, and we’re looking at some of her best sunglasses moments from the past few years. The actress is one for classic shapes, such as rectangular or aviator, and she usually dons classic colors like black and havana. Once in a while, she might go bolder, with a pair of butterfly shaped sunglasses, as picture above, but those are rare moments in her otherwise safe looks. However, it’s one of our favorite looks on her: the dark brown frames flatter her skin tone, and their large size shows off her impressive bone structure.

Even though we can’t really see a connection between the big logo Chanel sunglasses and the precious sheer dress, Cox seems to be enjoying it. These are some of the actress’ favorite shades, which she’s been wearing like crazy ever since 2005.

Probably the hottest of the looks is Courteney’s outfit on her show, Cougar Town, which has her in metallic Lilly Pullitzer sunglasses, layered tops and lots of cleavage. Speaking of the show, after directing some episodes, Cox caught the bug and is now moving forward with her first movie. The flick tells the story of a man (Seann William Scott) who comes back to his hometown to deal with some unresolved business before committing suicide. Kate Walsh, Garret Dillahunt and Rob Riggle are also starring in the film, which will begin shooting later this month in LA. Happy birthday, Courteney!

The Fragrance Foundation Awards have a history of over 40 years, having been celebrated in New York since 1973. The awards honor creative excellence and achievement in the field of fragrances, and yesterday was a big night for everyone in the industry. Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall was the location of the event, and the red carpet was filled with glamorous celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Dita Von Teese, Jessica Szohr or Connie Britton. Among them, Taylor Swift was honored with the award for Fragrance Celebrity of the Year, and she looked stunning while collecting her prize, in a white, sleeveless Emilio Pucci gown, with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Rene Caovilla heels. Light colors were very popular that evening, as Dita Von Teese picked a cream Maria Lucia Hohan dress (with Saint Laurent shoes), and Jessica Szohr went for silver flowers.

The winning perfumes of the night were Florabotanica Balenciaga Paris for Women’s Luxury Fragrance of the Year, DOT Marc Jacobs for Women’s Prestige Fragrance of the Year, Girlfriend Justin Bieber for Women’s Popular Fragrance of the Year, Tom Ford Noir for Men’s Prestige Fragrance of the Year, James Bond 007 for Men’s Popular Fragrance of the Year and Colonia Intensa Oud Acqua Di Parma for Men’s Luxury Fragrance of the Year. Dolce&Gabbana got the awards in both men and women for Media Campaign of the Year (with Pour Femme and The One For Men Sport), while the consumer’s awards went to Girlfriend Justin Bieber and Acqua di Gio.

June 11th was a highly anticipated date for Pretty Little Liars fans. It meant the premiere of the fourth season, one which the main actress, Ashley Benson, describes as “darker than ever”. The pretty little blond says that their fans grew up with the show, and that they’re now ready for something even stronger. “The darker, the better”, she told Ryan Seacrest in an interview, and announced that she’s really happy about the outcome. Benson revealed on the radio show that many new characters will appear this season, with surprising plots and crazy stories. We will also get our fair share of unexpected twists, Benson suggests, and you can no longer trust who’s good and who’s evil.

The new season premiered on Tuesday and revealed the identity of the infamous Queen of Hearts, as well as what was in Wilden’s trunk – we won’t give out any spoilers, because we’re sure you’d rather watch the full episode yourselves.

And since we’re on the topic of Ashley Benson, we love how casual she is in real life, compared to her perfectly polished character on the show, Hanna Marin. In order to stay on top of the trends, one must always be creative. This means that you don’t have to spend a lot to look like a million bucks. The solution? Do-it-yourself projects, which are incredibly popular at the moment. And it figures: you get to recycle things that you already own, and make them look like they’ve stepped down from a magazine. These are our favorite projects involving sunglasses – they’re all easy to do and spectacular in result:

Kanye West celebrated his 36th birthday on June 8th in New York city, with famous friends like Beyonce and Jay-Z. Meanwhile, the mother of his future child was stuck in Los Angeles, 8 months pregnant and not being able to fly. Kim Kardashian, who is expected to give birth to her and Kanye’s first child next month, couldn’t attend the Caribbean inspired party, as her pregnancy doesn’t allow her to travel by plane.

Last year, Kardashian gave West a Lamborghini for his birthday, valued at $750,000, but this year he wished for less grande gestures. A source told Hollywood Life that the rapper would have peace of mind for Kim and himself rather than anything else. His partner of over one year obliged, and tweeted a collage of couple pictures from throughout their relationship, captioned: “Happy Birthday to my best friend, the love of my life, my soul!!!! I love you beyond words!” The collage was initially posted on Kim Kardashian’s Instagram page.

The same source told the Hollywood site that Kim’s gift was in perfect tune with Kanye’s feeling for his birthday and that “he thought the world of it”. But he might get a second gift if all goes right, one that is far… sexier. A source told Hollywood Life that Playboy is interested in having a photo shoot with Kardashian after she gives birth! Apparently, the magazine knows that such an idea would be a huge commercial success, and they would do it without blinking. However, we’re not sure that Kanye would be up for such a “gift”, even if both Kim and the magazine would reach an agreement. Back in 2007, Kim described her Playboy experience as “uncomfortable”, having been pressured by her mother, Kris Jenner, to pose in exchange for recognition.

The end of May and beginning of June meant a new and exciting part of the trilogy for Hangover fans. In part 3, Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms are tracking down an escaped Mr. Chow when one of their own is kidnapped by a gangster. The poster offers some hints, with the three gentlemen looking fierce in black suits and eyewear that fits their personality. Does that sound interesting? Wait until you see the movie…

The cast of the final film in the series traveled around the world for the premieres, from the US to Europe and South America. And while it might have been fun at first, things started becoming more and more boring for Bradley Cooper. The actor was happy to take pictures with his fans at first, showing of his sharp suits and signature designer sunglasses, but when he reached Rio de Janeiro he was in a bad mood. The 38 year old not only ignored the requests of his fans, but he also gave snappy replies to reporters’ questions. That is, if he even answered them at all. But it seems like every actor had their struggles during the tiresome premiere tour. Heather Graham, for example, hit the Paris red carpet in a gorgeous black and white Talbot Runhof gown. Turns out, it was too much for her to handle. The 43 year old actress went out of her comfort zone for the event, and she ended up feeling nervous through the whole thing. Graham’s usual outfits are more wearable and less glamorous, but she made an exception since it was Paris, the home of couture, that she was visiting. Nervous or not, she did look gorgeous on the red carpet!

Gone are the days when Rihanna and Chris Brown were sipping on beers at the game. The couple are now officially split, once again. It looks like Brown is too busy to chase her and too young to settle down, which leaves Riri single once again. Sources claim that she was growing tired of him, too, so the break-up was consensual. Be that as it may, the couple are even done being friends, and they’re not currently on talking terms. A source told Hollywood Life that the two stars are through, and are not planning on getting back together. We heard that before…

Rumors about their split appeared about a month ago, as the Umbrella singer complained about love in one of her concerts. Rihanna told her fans that she’s in the “confused group” when it comes to understanding love. And even though Brown told the listeners of a radio show that he’ll love Riri forever, he also said that he’s too young to be “wife-ing” her.

The 2013 CMT Awards were all the rage in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday night. With special guests like Lenny Kravitz and Nelly, the awards were what one would call a great success. Starting off from the purple carpet replacing the red one, the show was full of surprises – some fashionable, and some just heart-felt.

In the heart-felt category, it’s hard not to mention Carrie Underwood‘s performance, who dedicated her song, See You Again, to the victims of the tornados in Oklahoma, her native state. It was very emotional, with visuals from the recent catastrophe as a backdrop, and especially when considering that the country singer donated $1 million from her latest tour to the American Red Cross, in aid of the tornado victims.

At the CMT Awards, Underwood got Video of the Year (for Blown Away), for the second year in a row, and for the fourth time in the history of the awards. Another big winner was Miranda Lambert as Female Video of the Year and Performance Video of the Year. The Over You singer got another award, in the form of a kiss from Lenny Kravitz, which she mentioned during her acceptance speech. Florida Georgia Line, Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum and Blake Shelton all won awards during the evening.

When it comes to fashion, the guests turned out to be more stylish than one would expect from a country event. But with people like Taylor Swift around, the bar was raised. The Everything Has Changed singer wore a high-low Elie Saab dress, strapless and embellished, with Jimmy Choo lace peep toes and Neil Lane jewelry. Nicole Kidman accompanied her country-singing husband, Keith Urban, wearing an understated little black dress by Christian Dior with white heels by the same designer – and they looked perfectly paired. We also loved the cute AnnaSophia Robb in a Georges Chakra Couture backless dress and nude B Brian Atwood shoes with sparkly ankle straps. Many were amazed by Sheryl Crow‘s stylish appearance, in a Willow dress and golden platform sandals by Saint Laurent. Which one was your favorite?
